Benediction and Protection Scapular - Purple Scapular of Marie-Julie Jahenny

I have been searching for this Scapular for a long time. I found one along a dirt road in Mexico. Both of the rectangular purple clothes were face down along this road, where many prayerful people walked with their Rosaries. I happened to look down at these rectangular purple pieces of cloth in front of my feet. I bent down to pick them up. As I turned them over, I realized it was a large Beautiful Scapular. There was no dirt on it. It was in perfect condition, clean and handsewn very meticulously. To my amazement, it had scarlet tiny drops of fresh blood 🩸 running from the top of the picture of a standing closed rose next to Jesus! The tiny drops ran all the down his arm, past his feet, and all the way down to the bottom of the painted picture of Jesus, the Weeping Mother Mary, and the young Angel Child catching Mary’ tears! I fell to my knees and began to cry. I was filled with emotions of extreme Joy and Peace. This was my first encounter with the “Purple Scapular,” or the “Benediction Purple Scapular. We had gone to Mexico to pray for my 14 year old nephew who had a brain tumor at that time. He had a difficult journey, but was eventually healed 22 years ago. I never knew anything about this Scapular. I did not know it’s name or it’s history until I recently went on the Web and researched “the purple Scapular/Scapula. Then for the first time, I read it’s amazing story and history. I looked on Amazon. I bought several of these Scapulars made in France, and gave them as gifts. The one I have was professionally framed and blessed by my priest. The fresh drops of blood have dried, and have has bled into the fabric. But this did not happen until many years later. This home protection scapular is nicer in person than looking at it on a computer screen. It is well made. I already have it hanging in my house and plan on getting it blessed soon.

The purple scapular (about the size of the palm of the hand) was given to Marie Julie Jahenny by Blessed Mother Mary and her Son, Jesus Christ, during an ecstacy on August 23, 1878. Some of the promises attached to the Purple Scapular from the enclosed leaflet and online: "this Scapular will accord a new protection for the time of chastisements, calamites, and famine. All those who wear it, will be able to be out in times of tempests, storms and darkness - they will have light as in full day. My Children each soul, each person who possesses this scapular will see his family protected, his home will also be protected, first of all from fires which will never be able to penetrate inside....During the chastisements they will be protected....Finally, this scapular will be a means of offsetting the blows of the Divine Anger which thus, will not weigh down on souls." The three scapulars ordered were perfect and came 3 days early.

High Quality Wool Scapular which is made in the strictest design criteria as required by our Holy Mother. I have three on my property and each one except for one) is prominently displayed in full view in the house and garage. A Great Protection and an excellent house warming gift for a new home or apartment.

The scapular is very good quality. The leaflet it came with was a bad quality copy though, a very small font was also used. Would have given 5 stars if not for the bad copy.
