This is my daughter’s favorite nightlight! She decorated it all by herself and loves laying in bed at night and seeing the stars projected on the ceiling while she snuggles in and drifts to sleep. It charges quickly and one charge usually lasts 2 nights. The only thing I would like to see changed is maybe a way that the battery pack can be slid into and out of the lid to make it easier for kiddos to be able to remove it and put it on the charger. Other than that, we are all very happy with this product!

My daughter loved this! Her room is very whimsical and she stated it was a nice addition because it goes with everything in her room. I don't care for the battery placement for the lights. It makes it difficult to charge and it doesn't come out easily after poped in. Oh and the stickers are a tad fragile. We were able to carefully move some around after placing them so its not bad. Overall a great product. Yes you could make it yourself but for a busy parent that doesn't have time or patience to hunt down the right lights let alone rechargeable ones this is perfect! Would definitely gift it to another child.

My 2.5 y/o loves her big sister's fairy lantern but as hers is made of glass, she is not allowed to play with it. This is a fantastic compromise for her! It was super simple to assemble and looks beautiful. The best part is since the jar is plastic, I do not need to worry about broken glass! The pompom pen and notepad are a nice bonus. I do wish the switch for the fairy lights was accessible from the outside. But not a deal breaker. I took off 1 star because there is "gap" in the frosted plastic liner (the part you put the stickers on) and that area is not frosted. See second picture

I got this for my 4 year old daughter. She had a blast putting it together and it was so simple and easy to to do. The whole time we were putting it together, we talked about how magical fairies are. Now she sleeps with the fairy light at her bed every night and loves watching the magic lights inside. It's a great nightlight to keep by her bed! She is too young to take notes in the book, but she likes to draw pictures of the fairies that she "sees" or makes up.

Got this for my 6 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it and it was easy enough for her to put together by herself. The fact that the lights are rechargeable is a great feature so you're not constantly having to replace the batteries since kids are bound to leave the lights on. The moon and stars projection on the ceiling is absolutely adorable. My daughter really enjoyed drawing pictures for the fairies in the notebook provided.

There isn't much to the craft part of this jar. A few stickers and it's done. The purple lights inside are cool. We like that they can flash or stay on. However, the charger wasn't well thought out. It doesn't fit with the cord still plugged in (which I would have loved to be able to keep track of it that way) and it's a pain to snap it into place. So you have to pry it out every time you want to charge it. Given that the lid is thin plastic that sort of snaps over the thread rather than actually screws into place, I suspect it will not last very long.

Went to my Grandaughter in AZ. ALL I LNOW IS THAT SHE LOVED IT. Sadly I had also ordered her the unicorn set. But that has never arrived. Even sfter speaking with customer service. It is nice to have 2 lanterns as there are also games they play with a friend.

Great kit, my girls are in love with the lantern lights and the settings on it. They like to use it as reflective light the stars and the moon reflect on the wall. Mom approved my favorite feature is that the lights are rechargeable. Well over all is a fun kit 100% customized to your own taste. This can be a great gift to.
