Barton's (2) Packs Old Fashioned Peppermint Bark - Crunched Peppermint, Creamy Vanilla, Luscious Dark Chocolate - Holiday/Christmas Candy Bars - 2.25 oz per bar

On a whim, I decided to get a couple of peppermint barks and we loved them so I am ordering more. We had these and the Ghiradelli version. I think I like these better. This time I got the 2 pound tin.

Oh my, where do I start. A friend of mine gave me one of your candy bars last week. She received 2 candy bars for Christmas and put them in the freezer. We were looking for something sweet to eat, mid afternoon, and she pulled out one of the candy bar and gave me the other one. At this point, I was hungry so she made hot tea and we shared a candy bar. WOW. It was so good. The dark chocolate on the bottom and white chocolate mixed with pieces of mint candy on the top. So good. When I got home, I went on Amazon and ordered a 2 pack. Amazon had the best price. So glad you asked me. Thank you.

This is like the peppermint bark I remember from my childhood, not like that insipid stuff in the stores made by a famous candy company from San Francisco. (Nothing political there, I like San Francisco!) But this peppermint bark has the snap, crunch, and full-bodied flavor of peppermint. That, long with the really good dark chocolate base, makes this the best I've ever had!

I didn't mind that the two candy bars where broken but I did mind that they where both old. The dark chocolate was starting to turn white.

Just so you know these are regular sized candy bar looking things. I ordered for my husband for his Christmas thinking it would be bigger and its small. Like a Hershey bar but smaller. For the price I should have ordered something else.
