I got this electic scooter because my electric skateboard broke down, and really need something for entertainment during the lockdown, it turned out to be my favorite so far, only 1/3 of my eletric skateboard price, but double the fun lol. I used it to cruise around the park and the neighbor everyday, and took it for shopping time to time. Pro: 1. The battery is great, only need charge every three days. I commuted 3-4 miles everydays, so it was not bad. 2. The brake is good, with the double braking system, it was very safe to ride even for a newbie. 3. The tires are air-filled, so it still offers good riding quality even in bumpy road. 4. The deck is wide, with 19 in X 6 in which is big and comfortable for most ppl. 5. It reachs the max speed really fast, compare to my old eletric skateboard, about 7 sec after I tested, which is good for the price I paid. 6. The price is great for the entry-level scooter, I think this is might be one of the lowest price compare to others brands, I had hard time deciding between Xiaomi or Gotrax, so far, I am super happy with the this for the low price I paid, just wish I knowed about the affiliation link on Youtube video, so I can save another 10%, but absolutely worthy every single pennies for the fun I have during this month. 7. It offers two modes/gears. 1st caps at 10 miles I think, good for kids. And 2nd caps at 15.6 miles or somethings, it is actually faster than it sounds. 8. It is small when I fold it up, fit into uber or my car easily. Cons: 1. The speed still caps at 15 miles even at downhill(I guess for safety reason), wish it could be fast lol, maybe it is just me, I get used to skate downhill.... 2. If offers a very bright LED headlight. But No rear light(only a reflector), You have to get some rear light in your backpack when it is dark outside for safety. 3. you have to get a strap for handle, it is a little difficult to hold for a person with smaller hands, because the battery was installed inside. I have not tested in the snow, but even it rains, I still able to commute around. Overall, I think this is the best scooter you can find in this price range. It offers fast and smooth ride. Decent range, good portability, great quality, big deck, and nice battery, for the 300 I paid, it is really worthy.

The Gotrax XR Elite is super reliable and smooth to ride. The honeycomb tires never go flat, the 300W motor has good power, and I get close to the full 18-mile range. The lights are bright, it folds easily, and the build feels solid. Perfect for daily rides or commuting!

Awesome scooter, super smooth ride... worth every penny spent. My 10 yr old can use it easily! Battery last as promised too!

Bought this March 2021. I was so excited and this was helping with my commute to work which is less than 2 miles and it is very fun to ride until your back tire (tube) punctures. I didn't even have my scooter for 2 months. The screw that holds the reflector in place is stripped and I can't remove it so that I can get to the screw to remove the tire to fix it. I've spoken to a couple of people even filed a warranty claim and I still haven't heard back from Gotrax. Overall the scooter is awesome but I'd give it zero starts if I could since I'm out of $400 and didn't get to enjoy it. This was almost gonna be a great summer. Now not so much, got no way around sucks. Update: I was contacted by email about this review over a year later Oct 2022. Told me they fired their last customer service team and implemented a new one. Said he came across my review and was going to send me a new one due to the lack of assistance prior. I haven't had the replacement for long just a couple weeks so I can't say if it is better yet but we'll see. However I commend the manager of the new customer service team for reaching out to me and making things right. Not many people left in the world who try to make things right. Hopefully this one lasts. Thank you Wei Z. Update: Replacement scooter doesn't even work. Something is wrong with the battery. Contacted gotrax/amazon and they don't have this replacement order on file so I can't even fix this. Never buy this brand. They seem to all have a problem.

Très bon produit avec une qualité exemplaire. Acheté et livré en 3 jours au Québec. Dès le premier essais, j’ai resté surpris par la force du moteur. Je pèse environ 165 lbs et aucun problèmes pour monter les côtes. La vitesse est ralentie mais je monte plusieurs bonnes côtes à 10 Miles à l’heure en moyenne. Sur terrain plat, je suis à 15.5 miles à l’heure sans problème. Je vous le suggère grandement.

Screws are so small and put in so tightly that I cannot open battery compartment at all to fix. Ive stripped the tiny screws now, still cannot remove and now scooter is collecting dust in the corner.

Value for money, had a problem after 10 days was quickly replaced
