This was easy to install, and is a good security solution for my MB Air. The lock is easy to unlock with the key, but it is more difficult to lock it again, and usually takes several tries before it latches into the locked position. If you're planning to mostly leave your laptop locked, it works fine for that. If you are planning to lock and unlock your Mac several times a day, it might not be the best option for you.

The backet fits fine and looks as if the computer was manufactured with it built into the body. Perfect.Now the lock? I am not sure if this is just a bad luck and defective lock or if they are all like this. The lock worked effectively for one week (7 times of locking and unlocking). Ever since, it has never locked again. You can flip it from lock to unlock without using the key and thus it is essentially worthless other than potentially being a visual deterent for a thief.
