Great for leaders, NOT as main line
The best for the money IF USED FOR LEADERS. This line sucks as a main line. Too much memory and when it gets a visible white colored kink in the line, it shatters. Can only recommend as a leader on braid. This is $10.97 at my local Walmart, for what it's worth. If you can't wait two days that's where I get mine.***UPDATE 2/20/17***So I've had several break offs just above the knot. The knot strength appears to be amazing, but be careful what knot you tie and make sure to hardcore lubricate your knots. I tie a San Diego jam knot most of the time with flourocarbon.Ive also had some break offs on the flourocarbon side of the connection knot, a blood knot. The knot always holds but if the knot catches on the line guide or in a rod guide, it breaks on the flouro side. ***This is using the 15 lb flouro***

Purchase something else
So I really thought that this particular fluorocarbon would be great, because of all the good reviews that I read about it. But unfortunately it is not and feels like really cheap line. The line broke once while I was spooling it onto my Orra SX and one more time while I was setting up my drag, brakes and spool tension. Maybe I just got the wrong type of Seaguar or maybe even a crappy box, but I will definitely not be getting this again. Kastking fluorocarbon is better than this stuff

What they are saying is! seaguar line is very good line!
I've been using the 20 pound and 15 pound red label for several years and it is hard to beat for the price. I use it for bass fishing and it's very strong line and super sensitive.I add backing and can spool up a couple reels with 175yds. I always use real magic when spooling and pull the memory out of the line. After doing that this stuff casts and handles like a dream.

Expect to lose lures and messy birdcages.
Good value overall! Lost a lure today during very first castings with the spool, the knot would snap into threads. Also prone to birdcaging due to memory problem. It is smoother and casts further than a mono of the same poundage - also thinner. Will have to get more mileage on this before I can reach a verdict but so far I’m not overly impressed.

Great line for vertical fishing but not for casting far
Good strong line and gets more bites than monofilament. However I experience decreased casting distance, when I put in a baitcaster reel, compared to monofilament in the same baitcaster reel. It’s ok if vertical fishing only from a pier or boat. Fluorocarbon main lines, as opposed to florocarbon leader material, are different. Fluorocarbon main lines don’t cast far, don’t flow out of baitcaster reels well, and don’t flow through casting rods well.

Great abrasion resistance.
I usually really like Seaguar fluorocarbon lines, but I'm not that impressed with this line. While this line is super strong and abrasion resistant, it is very stiff and has a lot of memory. It works great for pulling bass out of brush, but every third flip or so, you need to pitch it out farther and hold tension on the line reeling it back in to get it to lay on the reel spool. Forget about long casts as well. I ended up replacing with Invizex and am much happier.

Love this fluoro
Not cheap, but great fluoro. Wet your knots though, because if you burn this fluoro pulling a knot tight without enough lubrication it WILL weaken your line, and you WILL lose your bait/lure. Don't trust the same knot day after day, either; cut and retie. I forgot to do this and lost a $10 swimbait when the knot snapped on a cast.

Great leader #20
I tie this 20 to a 20 braid for halibut fishing (inshore). Use a double uni knot and have no issues with pulling in fish or experiencing break off. I also use a 1oz trolling wieght so it gets castes often. Snagged it on the rocks so I locked the line to break it off and it was the braid that broke. For the money, I am satisfied.

seaguar
bought this for fly fishing leaders great knot strength and decent value for money. but when fishing a 3 fly set up found it tends to tangle badly. might be the way i cast but have fished for over 20years and never had this problem with other fluorocarbon.

Find the right knot for this flourocarbon
Works best with the Davy knot, other knots seem to slip and lead to snap offs.
