I love that these are not tamper proof. The first box of outlets I bought are tamper proof. That means there is a spring inside that makes it really hard to put in a plug and impossible (so they say) to put in anything except a proper plug. We are older and find tamper proof outlets really hard to use. This model is easy.

I bought these because I could get them sooner than the Leviton brand. The first time I tried to plug in a device you almost have to pound the plug into the receptacle to get it in the receptacle. I am hoping over time this won't be a problem or I will have to change them out.

The color of these is not Snow White, so make sure you order White faceplates instead of the Snow White, which is the shiny white of an Apple product. The color difference isn't noticeable until you put them side by side. These are a softer white color. I cannot stand when people put logos on their products, which another brand I unfortunately already installed does. That logo will get dirty over time and doesn't clean as easily as a completely smooth surface, which this one offers.They are easy to install if you've had experience before with a brand that included instructions, which this brand does NOT have. It does have holes in the back to insert the wires, and also has screws to wrap wires around if that's how you prefer to install them (or if you've got 2 wires that need to feed the same port on the outlet).
