It's a good sturdy old fashion vest. Don't spect something modern like an AVS (Assault Vest System), this is an integral vest, that means it opens by the sides or the shoulders using velcro and plastic side release buckles, providing a quick release if you ever need to take off the vest ASAP. It also means that eventually the velcro will stop being effective, but properly adjusted, you could get in and out of this vest by slip in and/or out. Being integral means that what you see is what you get. This is NOT a modular vest like the newer AVSs, but like the old vests, you have 7 MOLLE lines in the front, and 9 in the back (3 non standard velcro type), and if you need more attachment grids, you have 4 MOLLE lines at each side. Like in the old days, everything turns around this, not around a modular system. Because this is an integral vest, it will be adjusted around the sides and shoulders, not around a harness and/or skeletal cummerbund like in the newer AVS, which means it's faster and less troublesome. That being said, this is a sturdy vest. Don't get your hopes too high, for 40 bucks this will break, eventually, but until then, with a moderate use, this baby could at least endure for 2 or 3 years, maybe more. I didn't get any kind of smell but I believe that's the flip of a coin. Clearly you can notice some small flaws, like some loose threads here and there, but everything is sewed as supposed to. Is it comfortable to wear?, to some degree, yes. Depending on the initial adjustment, you could experience some pressure around the collar bones when you are aiming, and be VERY aware: this baby will make you sweat like a pig on a sunny summer day because there is NO breathable thread here AT ALL, and the insides of the vest are sewed with a plastic thread that will catch heat. All and all, additional to the vest you will also get a normal admin pouch, 2 radio pouches that could be used also as grande pouches, 1 general pouch, and 1 x3 magazine pouch, all this for 40 bucks + shipment and taxes if you purchased it outside USA. That's a lot of bang for the buck. If you are looking for a good old fashion integral vest, to used it as your everyday vest or as your first airsoft vest, this very much could be.

Definitely a good vest for the price, the included pockes are functional for what they are used for. The vest feels great and it is lightweight. The vest perfectly represents a conventional military vest with the function as well as how it looks. there are plate carrier slots on the inside that fit plates well and seals them in.

Really impressed with this vest! The quality feels solid and it has a good weight. Definitely doesn’t feel cheap. I have a smaller frame, and it fits comfortably even though most “one size fits all” items usually don’t. Easy to put on and adjust, which makes it great to versatile for cosplay or airsoft. Also plenty of space for Velcro patches on the front and back. I liked it so much I ended up ordering a second one for my girlfriend so she could join in as an operator too. Worth every penny!

I got this vest for airsoft battles with my friends and it worked great! The reason why I gave it a four star rating is because I am a smaller pre-teen and the vest no matter how tight I made It it just would not fit me. Over all its stitching and weight are pretty good for the price. It can also adjust somewhat well. I would recommend this product to any person but just make sure it will fit you.

It’s easy to put on with type and side Velcro that’s tight and adjustable! I have 9 mags and med kit and multiple other mole installed and it’s very easy to use walk around in!

Awesome vest, especially for the price. Used for Ghost COD cosplay and airsoft. Plenty of pockets for airsoft mags and offers good protection. Easy to take on and off and isn’t too heavy.

Felt pretty good, was actually comfortable to use and easy to put it, fit me just perfect! Wasn’t super heavy or even taxing on my back!

I just received it. I am exploring it and it's capabilities. So far for my needs, this is going to work very well. A couple of unexpected surprises. The large rifle magazine pouches have hidden pockets, that have Velcro to dynamically adjust their depth. Easily used for pistol magazines. The bottom of the vest opens to be able to insert large plates. These are VERY welcome additions, and EXACTLY what I needed. The material appears to be well made, quite durable at first inspection. The zippers seam good quality. For the price, you can't beat this vest. It is EXACTLY what I need.
