These are just fine for my chosen application. And the light on the radio shows very bright with fully charged batteries.

We had a number of solar lights and the batteries over time quit charging. These work well.

Bought these to replace old rechargeables in my outdoor solar lights! These work great and make my solar lights last almost twice as long at night than the original batteries. Often my solar lights are still illuminating in the early morning as I'm leaving for work as before my lights would only light up for about 6 hours after it got dark before they would go out.. Extremely happy with purchase and would buy again.. Super fast delivery too!

What I dislike like about these rechargeable batteries is that they do not hold charge long.

Bought for solar lights, but they work in other items too. They were a good value, but dont hold the charge quite as long as I had hoped they would. Not as long as a regular battery.

I am surprised these are listed as an "Amazon Choice" given my experience with this brand. I have clear solar mini lights strung on the railing to my raised deck. They were working surprisingly well for two years but were in need of fresh batteries. The strands were outfitted with a single 600mAh/1.2V Ni-MH (rechargeable AA). I read in the customer Q&A that the NiCds would weather seasonal temperatures better (i.e. potentially last longer). So I bought the NiCD and also sprung for a higher capacity, 1,000mAh/1.2v,. I expected the same or better performance the the upgraded batteries over the originals.Unfortunately, they did not remain illuminated for any longer than the exhausted originals. For the first 1.5 years, the original batteries had allowed the strands to work about 6-8 hours depending on the weather. As a troubleshooting step I recalled that I still had the protective clear plastic film over the solar panels as originally shipped. To allow for better charging, I removed the film, as it had become cloudy, to expose the still-pristine solar panels. Unfortunately, this did nothing to help improve the performance. The lights would work about three hours and quit. As a result, I was forced to conclude that my new batteries are the source of the problem.I wished I would have returned these GEILINERGY NiCD right away. Now it's too late, and they scarcely operate my string lights even though I live in the perennially sunny Golden State.. I was careful to replace solar battery for solar battery so the only thing I can chalk it up to is that either these batteries are not living up to their 1,000mAH capacity or the Q&As with seller responses in which it is suggested that NiCD can be substituted for Ni-MH are wrong. At this point it's cheaper to replace the solar lights, themselves, than invest in more batteries.

I've used these batteries to replace old ones in my solar lights that had quit working. The seller sent this instructions..."Install the battery in the device without charging and use it till completely drained. Then charge the battery fully using the normal charging procedure for the device. If the battery is going to be used in a solar device, install the battery at dusk and place the device in it's normal location. This will allow the device to drain the battery completely during the night. As long as the device is placed where it receives direct sunlight for 5-6 hours, it should be fully charged to power the device brightly the following evening!"I've followed these instructions and they are working great. The batteries even recharged fully on a cloudy day. I'll buy more of these.

Got what I expected

So far so good, am actually getting 1000 mah out of most of them...

No issues, working great.

The batteries made my outdoor lights work like new. I followed the directions about installing them at dusk so they would totally discharge on there first use and they have been working ever since. My lights stay on all night!

2 of the batteries in the pack were deadheads. disappointing
