Great price, delivery first class, the glass cover extraction tool was excellent, it worked a treat, and the new glass cover replacement is not needed at the moment as I managed to get the old cover off without breaking it, thanks to the extraction tool. So why only 3 stars, well the bulb arrived totally shattered in its individual box. I definitely think that packaging of the bulb could be better – perhaps a bit of bubble wrap or tissue paper around the bulb itself and maybe brown paper inside the solid outer shipping carton to stop any movement of the 3 separate parts internally would definitely help. After some correspondence with the supplier, they are apparently arranging to send me a replacement bulb although its now been 10 days since they said they would send it and no sign yet.Edit : They instead credited me with the full purchase price😊

Was sceptical about whether the tool would be any good after reading various reviews. Opted for this bundle after some people had even said they had to break the existing cover in order to remove it. I had no issues at all removing the cover (with said tool), so the whole job took about 2 mins.Some people suggest warming the oven up first, but I didn’t.Definitely recommend this product.

The plastic removal tool is rubbish, it does not have the strength in the product to remove the glass around the bulb holder. The new glass dome and bulb are great but the plastic removal tool would work on a unused oven but it could not remove ours as it slips around the glass dome when force is applied to turn the dome. In the end I resorted to WD40. After 15 mins of allowing it to work and a tap with a small hammer I was able to take the glass dome off change the bulb and replace the dome with the new one.

Safety glass and bulb are fine but the removal tool is not good enough. Over time Safety glass becomes very difficult to remove and this tool simply not up to the job

Ok, everyone knows these glass protectors are a nightmare to undo. Tip - warm the oven, spray around the mount of the glass dome with WD40, leave 15 minutes and then unscrew the dome.I changed mine out and all seemed good. The first time I used the grill there was a clonk sound and I saw that the new replacement glass dome had fractured around its circumference and the dome fell onto my thick cut back bacon (unsmoked). I had to wait for everything to cool and then remove the glass screwthread.I soaked the old glass dome overnight in a small amount of water and a dish washer tablet. It came up like new and is back in the oven and is fine.As for this replacement product? Well, it is more expensive than just buying a bulb and all I ended up with was a bulb that worked and a glass dome that was unusable.
