I LUV this concise, quick reference book for Microsoft! Knowing little more than how to turn ON & OFF my desktop computer, I have bought countless books that still left me intimidated and "in the dark." (I am a writer who MUST know ht get manuscripts efficiently sent to publishers--and recently was in a jam to meet a "deadline"--due to my lack of computer skills!) But this book quickly guided and convinced me, that EVEN I no longer needed to fear formatting and creating professional copy!This book has been "the best money ever spent" on ANY and ALL books of computer instruction! YES!

I found this book very helpful. I was looking for a little more than beginners level. I chose a physical book rather than an ebook so I could attempt tasks on my own & if I ran into an issue, turn to the book. I found it laid out very well for this use. Easy to find topics. Easy directions & illustrations. Ive learned quote a few shortcuts for tasks I was doing but in a long way around so Im saving time too.Id recommend to beginner level to early moderate level users. My only negative would be I think it could have included a few more tasks for the level its aimed at. Otherwise Im very happy with the purchase.

Microsoft Word in 30 minutes is a quick go-to paperback for the neophyte writer or student that needs just the essentials for using Word. The author gives succinct instructions for both Word for Windows and Mac. The only thing I would have included would be Mail Merge's instructions. Otherwise, it’s an excellent little booklet that can serve as a quick review for using Word in writing business documents or college research papers.

This book was not what I thought it would be...example no talk of mail merging which is one the most important thing you will want to do in Word. This book is for someone who has Never used a computer or is new to Microsoft 365. Would have sent back but not worth the trouble.

It makes it easy to operate word when you forget little things like how to insert in your document.

Easy to follow book, especially for someone with no experience with Word. I learned some things I didn't already know.
