I've been wearing wigs for over a decade and trying to style the wig, cut the lace off the wig and trying to lay the baby hairs down; all while wearing the wig is rather difficult. If you’re into making or wearing wigs a good quality sturdy wig head is a must. I love that this also came with useful extra goodies which saved me some money. The clamp works really well. If you want to work on hair without using the wig stand you can easily clamp it a table and it stays put. The sewing needles thread t pins and styling clips, and wig cap are things you will def need as well. This is A great deal considering those extras. The wig head itself was the perfect fit to my head. You can also attach this to the pole. Everything is good quality.

I don't know how this compares to other models, but it's done its job so far! I used this to restyle an Anna and an Elsa wig, and it stood up to plenty of tugging and brushing. You can't stick pins straight into it, but have to catch them under the fabric at an almost parallel/flush angle, but that seems to be extremely secure where sticking it in perpendicular would wiggle about. I like that it came with the pins and banana clips so I didn't have to buy them separately. I didn't use the wig-making supplies like the base cap and the curved sewing needles - all my projects are restyles.

I love my mannequin head and the extra gifts that came with it are perfect. Makes styling and dyeing hair so much easier. It’s also great if you’re into wig making and the gift items will assist you with this as well.
