Creme de Marrons de l'Ardeche Chestnut Spread - Pack of 2

Received two tubes, tastes very good, I mix it in with oatnug

I paid for 2 jams but one of it damaged inside of the package. But Amazon or this company don’t return or replace it. And didn’t respond of my message that I sent to the seller.Jam is delicious but don’t bother to buy from here.

This is the chestnut spread used all over France to spread on bread, in crepes, etc. It is the original and the best. I add it (about 2 tablespoons) to a basic vanilla pudding (just milk, sugar, vanilla and cornstarch to thicken) and add at the end, incorporating with a whisk. It tastes just like the classic Mont Blanc pudding! Cut back on the sugar in your pudding recipe, as this paste has a lot of sugar also.

I this carefully reading the description which said I would be getting (x2) 1 KG cans (which is 2.2 lbs). When I purchased it there were even cans in the pictures. On the day it was scheduled to come those pictures were turned into these tubes, which are about 75 grams. The description still said we’d be receiving a little over 4 lbs. we wanted to make a chestnut pie with it.The taste is delicious, quality ingredients, but the listing is completely inaccurate. I was so excited to get cans at an affordable price. I knew something was fishy. Oh well…don’t get this if you are expecting cans. If you just want the tubes, then it’s a fine product.

I added this to plain yogurt for a delicious breakfast treat.

I purchased the product because people raved about it. The product is good and the packaging is so cute but idk if I would buy again and if I do it would be because of the aesthetic of the product.

If you've never tried Crème de Marrons, do yourself a favor and buy a tube (or twenty). I grew up on these and haven't found a better crème de marrons yet, even though I've tried a dozen of other brands. This one is smooth, with a hint of vanilla. It's delicious mixed with yogurt, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or just straight from the tube. Enjoy!
