This is the best brush for my lab and collie for bathing. It really works loose hair out. For both short and long hair. I think works better when wet than dry. Soft for my lab with short hair where she fears some brushes that hurt her skin.

I have 2 dogs. One has a thick double coat, the other a much lighter single coat. Because of this, I have a couple of different brushes and deshedding combs. Their grooming needs vary, but one thing they both need fairly regularly is baths. They're both active dogs, they go on long hikes, and they have a knack for finding every bramble, thorn bush, and mud pit known to man. One thing I wanted was a mild (IE not very aggressive) brush so that I could comb their coats out when they're being bathed. I gambled on these because I would only be out about $8 and if they didn't work, I'd give them away or toss them out. I'm done stockpiling stuff that doesn't work for me, and I find that if I don't have much invested in an impulse buy like this, I'm much less prone to tripping over it for a year before I decide to admit my mistake. I'm glad to say that these work fine, so I won't be throwing them out anytime soon. Because they're a very coarse-pattern brush with silicone rubber nubs, they don't trap much hair. They won't do a good job deshedding a dog's coat. On the other hand, they're exactly what I wanted for working dog shampoo into and out of their coats, for getting rid of mud or clots of dirt, etc. The brushed must feel good because both dogs enjoy getting combed with them. This is a good tool to have when you go to bathe your dogs. Leaving shampoo in their coats or on their skin can sometimes act as an irritant, and the nubs on this brush do a good job of getting it all out.

Dogs love and easy to clean.

I have a 2 year old labrador retriever with severe allergies and I have to bathe her with medicated shampoo once a week. The shampoo is extremely thick and I couldn't get it in all the places I needed to without using a lot of the expensive shampoo. So I bought these to use in her weekly bath. One thin line of shampoo on this and I can do most of her body, bringing the shampoo to a great lather and getting it in all the nooks and crannies of her body. It fits wonderfully on my hand without slipping off and so much of her hair comes off and gets stuck in these pads, but a quick smack or two against the side of the tub and it all comes off in one piece. This has been such a timesaver (and money saver) as I do this weekly chore. I have not used this on a dry dog, but it works wonderfully for bathing her. I've used these for about 6 weeks and have had absolutely no problems. The "handles" haven't broken (I slide it over the palm of my hand for bathtime), and it really gets the shampoo to lather up and aids in getting the shampoo off when I rinse her off. So pleased with this purchase and would definitely buy them again if needed.

I have a Boxer and Chihuahua who know how to shed! These are perfect. Gets that loose hair right off. Have used others that were too hard, these give them a pleasant massage while getting the hair off so they enjoy their daily brushing. Fits nicely in my hand. When done I slap it a few times on the side of the patio table to get the hair off the bristles and it's ready for next time.

These work great for both my dogs that have Curley fur. Helps a lot with baths to get all the dirt and junk out. Easy to use strap helps with easy use. Would definitely recommend these for your pet baths.

I’ve tried numerous expensive brushes with my dogs and none of them compare to this. They actually love being brushed and it gets so much hair off. Then I use a lint roller to get the hair off the brush and that worked perfectly! An amazing price for an Amazing product.

These are very easy to use and the dog treats it like she is having her own personal massage! Her eyes light up when she sees them and is perfectly happy to sit and let me brush her for ages. ‘Nuff said!

I use this as a wet brush on my long haired dog. I find it helps the shampoo lather up. It is gentle and works well to remove her shed hair. She prefers it over a wire brush. I have a small hand and so I found these a bit big.
