Would recommend.
This should be required reading for international peace keepers, or culture changers, or really any contractor who is serious about effecting change on whatever foreign mission they are on.

A must read if you're interested in, or working in connection with, customary justice mechanisms...
I think everyone working in rule of law / access to justice / human rights positions in post-conflict recovery settings with strong / entrenched customary justice mechanisms should read this book (and also many of the reports / writings that are footnoted in it!).

Five Stars
A great book for everyone interested in legal pluralism, among others.
