Don't buy if you live in a place where heat gets over 100°
Not made to withstand west Texas heat. After a couple of weeks of use it got all deformed. Noticed very minimal difference using it.

prevents car form overheating above ambient temp. careful with window closing and aiming solar panel
works as advertised. The weak link with power windows if not careful when raising the window too fast it will crack the plastic. I don't use the rubber guard, so maybe that might help.ALSO there are different power capacities amongh simliar appearing ones. The picture on this one shows the larger solar panel I previously bought a less expensive one that barely moved any air and realized the solar panel was half the size, but the rest of it appeared the same. I have been using these for years . Have purchassed about 5 in the last 10 years. They don't cool the car below ambient temperature but keeping the inside of the car no hotther than outside temp is a PLUS.Some peopler have criticized this for only working when the solar panels face the sun. They are solar, so they have to face the sun! Remember the sun doesn't stay in the same place all day. When you park anticipate where the sun will be during the warmest part of your anticipated parking and put it in the window that will be facing that direction of the sun.

Am going to return the 2 products back. Due to that theres no way that the rubber molding stays in place at all. With out glue or special tape .Which I didnt try to use .

Kinda works
It comes on after charging in sunlight most of the time, but other times, for some reason, it does not do so. It does seem to push out some warmer air out of the car, but as per other reviewers of this and related products, it is not a large amount. My expectations where not high, so if you purchase this with that in mind, you will not be too disappointed.

the solar part is cool, but it's VERY low powered.
it doesn't blow air in very well. It's very low powered, but it's good just to circulate the heat so it's not too bad. I use this in the window while I have a rechargeable fan blowing directly at me and it keeps the interior of the car pretty cool. I do like that it has an exhaust as well so if I decide to use it in the winter, I know some air can get out too.

complete waste of time. Will not only work in 100% direct sunlight anything less barely produces enough power to spin the fan let alone create any type of air flow from a sealed vehicle. Maybe worth gutting housing and upgrading solar pannel and fan

Terrible vane design. Can't get a good volume of air. don't buy this product its not worth it.

This product works as described. However, as pointed out in other reviews the fans are not powerful. I used these (purchased two) throughout August and September. It is difficult to say how effective they were since I could not compare it to a car that did not have them. They do move air if you have an adjacent window cracked open, which at least does something to move air.
