So Far So Good So What

this is an awesome album, however its not the same as the one released in the 80s, but with added effects and slightly modified guitars and drums.... it was overkill to these songs. Its not terrible, the songs are more or less the same but the original version was much better....they probably gave Dave Mustaine the controls to the master recordings and he really fiddled with it like my kids lol

The CD I purchased from Rose & Thyme NYC*USA (Megadeth- So Far... So Good... So What![Original 1988 Pressing/Recording] came out just as described: (very good but,)practically like/ brand new!!! The CD has very little and minor scratches on it but nonetheless the CD works like a charm and plays great! They have great customer service by which they keep you up-to-date on what they are doing with your order and contact you as soon as humanly possible. They also describe the product exactly as they receive it and tell you whether the item is a original or remastered CD. I extremely and highly recommend that you go through them(if they have it in stock) for vintage CD's. They do a great job. PS: Thank you Rose!!!!!!

This is the re/mix remaster. Dave and crew added some effects here and there, redid some things and generally did the George Lucas thing to this record. I have been listening to the album since it came out and I think it was unnecessary, but shouldn't distract much. One of favorite albums. Just glad I have the original on CD when I need it.

This album is my favorite one of all Megadeth works. It's mature relаtively to "Peace sells...", and thrashy-raging as to "Rust...". I recommend it not only to a total thrasherhead, but to any metal fan, because the musicianship on this album is out of time and tastes. David Mustaine makes it really virtuous and cool.This is the second time I ordered this vinyl, because previously that was remastered version. Well, well, well - for the second time the remastered version came again, regretfully. So, do not mind the Ogv indication. This is the same newly done mix. Better look for 1988 original version!

I got it for my husband and he loves it. He says "it's the best album ever made!"

ONE OF MY FAVORITE MEGADETH ALBUMS -- SOUNDS EXCELLENT ON VINYL. A CLASSIC ALBUM AND PERFECT ADDITION TO ANY GREAT METAL COLLECTION.

This is a used copy of the original release.Not remastered .Hard as hell to find I got lucky here on Amazon and jumped at the chance for this rare Cd.You cant beat it this is Good Heavy Metal

When Dave was still angry and we loved it also he wasn't shoving his opinions on us lol still love them but this was there prime up to youthanasia IMO.

Very good sound quality. It is always enjoyable to listen to old bands like this. This is definitely worth buying.

This is Megadeth at its best in the eariy years. In my darkest hour is for me the best song on the album, telling how he feels about Cliff Burtons death. If you haven't got this album n you like Megadeth .... Shame on you
