I've assigned this book to my undergraduate public policy students for years, and encourage them to keep it. It provides an accessible introduction to the whole policy analysis process, and helps ground the more technical economic and political analysis I cover later. The authors have added more policy examples in the newest edition, which I expect will be very helpful.

This book was required for my doctorate-level class, but I have really enjoyed it. It is a great overview of the policy process as well as explains pitfalls.

Great book in terms of providing guidelines to making effective policy implementation. I though the introduction and few pages of the book were straight forward and informative. I don't like that the book has so much unnecessary and redundant examples that could have been edited out. A lot of fluff in this book makes it hard to get the point, should have been condensed into fewer pages.

This book is easy to digest, it explains in detail and in steps the legislative process. I am reading it for a graduate level class and it was a great choice by the professor.

The content is quite good. However, the quality of the print is really bad considering its price. Really cheap material, unfortunately.
