I bought these Alpine Swiss Stefan sneakers because I wanted something that looked cool but still felt good to wear all day. These have that retro style that’s been popular lately — kind of like old-school tennis shoes, but they still look modern enough to go with jeans or chinos. The suede trim gives them a little extra style without being too flashy. I got the red/white color and they match just about everything in my closet. They look especially sharp with cuffed jeans or shorts. Comfort-wise, they’re pretty solid. They were a little stiff out of the box, but didn’t take long to break in. The cushioning is decent and they feel light on your feet, which is nice if you’re walking around town or just running errands. Sole seems durable so far — no weird wear spots after a couple weeks of regular use. The laces are thick and don’t come undone easily, which is a small thing I appreciate. They run true to size from what I can tell. I’m a 9.5 usually and went with a 10 since some reviews mentioned they might run a bit narrow — and it worked out well. Plenty of room in the toe box without feeling sloppy. For the price, I think these are a great deal. If you're looking for a casual sneaker that looks stylish without trying too hard, these fit the bill.

Was looking for a "Vans" style casual shoe for work. Already own an Alpine Swiss backpack so I was confident about the expected (good) quality. Lightweight & comfortable. Only drawback is that they're only available in even sizes, no half sizes. No big deal. Wear thicker or thinner socks to compensate. And possibly add insoles for extra arch support. BTW, they DON'T have a blue tint to them. They're a true dark grey & charcoal with white soles. (Poor lighting reflection).

I saw these shoes and thought they were very cute and a good price. To me, the design was suitable for women and men. I decided I would take a chance and get them. I followed a size guide online for conversions for women' to men's shoes sizes. I couldn't decide on which color I wanted, they all look pretty fun. I decided on the white because I thought they would go with more outfits. I think I liked them because they remind me of a favorite pair of sneakers I had way back in middle school. The shoes look even better than the photos. They do have a very sporty, retro kind of look to them. I love their style.They are lightweight and low profile, which I like. Some athletic/sneakers with the higher soles look too big and clunky.( I always seem to catch my foot on carpeting or stubbing my toes in those ) Like everyone, I do want shoes that look good and fit my style. However, having back problems, I am more concerned about whether the shoes will be comfortable on my back. I wore these shoes for the first time on a busy day of shopping and running errands.. finishing up with dinner out. So it was a long day of walking to test news shoes. They passed that test with no problems..They were very comfortable.and I looked smart all day in them ! I especially like the construction material, I guess it's like a heavy woven nylon. I have had other shoes made of similar material so they should wash up nice in the washer and dryer. The shoe laces are longer than they need to be, but that can be easily fixed. Yes, I would recommend these shoes to my male and female friends :) Now I'd like to get a pair in the red or blue...

I brought this product in Red color, size 8 and received it in 2 days as expected from amazon prime. The shoes design looks good, unique modern style but the nylon mesh in the front looks little too flashy. The size looked a little big at first glance. The sole is very thin as noted by several users but was comfortable when I put it on. I believe the shoe can be worn for several hours before beginning to get uncomfortable. My problem was the length of the shoe. It was almost one size bigger than advertised and when I walked, I could see a crease form near the toe box. There was almost an 1.5 inch room in the front, now that is too big and I decided to return it. I also noticed that a day after I bought, the price dropped by $5. So for under $30 this is a decent shoe but I would spend a few dollars more and buy brand name sneakers, which would surely be more comfortable and last longer than this one.

These shoes run small. I wear a 13 and needed to exchange them for a 14. The materials seem to be really thick and quite stiff, also, they are just falling apart at the toe seam. Terrible construction but you get what you pay for. Cheap manufacturing. I’ve worn them for a week to break them in and they stayed stiff. I’m not a fan of bright white shoe bottoms but whatever. Light weight but not easy to get on and off. The laces are ridiculously long and will drag all over whatever you walk in unless you tuck them and then you’ll have that uncomfortable bulge at the top of the shoe under the first lace hole. You can see the lace length and the seam split. If your feet sweat at all, avoid these as they may be trap for athletes foot during long term use. Your feet will thank you. Honestly speaking, save yourself few more $$$ and just look for something of decent quality. These are junk. A waste of time AND money.

I bought these as a last-minute add-on during a random Amazon shopping binge, half-expecting them to be cheap and fall apart considering how inexpensive they are. But I LOVE them. They have a Euro-sporty look and a sleek fit that goes great with straight-leg jeans and everything from well-worn T-shirts to casual button-downs. I even wear them to the gym when I'm not doing cardio and I don't want to carry around a change of shoes. I got them in every color, and then I got every color for my nephew because I'm an awesome uncle. And they're well-constructed with sturdy nylon and precise stitching ... they still look just as great as they did a year ago when I bought them.
