My hair stylist recommended a styling cream for what I wanted to do with my hair. I wanted flexible hold without that crunchy feel when you use gel on wet hair and don't dry it with a blow dryer. It smooths fly aways so your hair does look perfectly in place. I used a flexible hair spray for more hold because this doesn't exactly hold the hair in place. I've used it on wet hair and dryed it looked great. I also used it on dry hair looked great as well.A huge plus with this product is my hair doesn't look super greasy after using it. My hair gets greasy looking fast and I was afraid cream would make it greasier even faster. My hair didn't look greasy at all so I was pleased.It does have a very strong floral smell. One reviewer said a little bit old ladyish. I wouldn't say it reminded me of old ladies, but more like an incense shop. Here's a good example I hate the smell of patchouli and even the slightest hint of it makes my skin crawl. This hair product doesn't smell like patchouli, but it has the same strong way of smelling that patchouli does. It is a potent smell. I think this smells floral and exotic. The smell actually doesn't bother me, but if you are sensitive to smell you may want to avoid this product.However, after wearing it in my hair for a couple of hours I didn't notice the smell anymore. You also don't have to put a huge amount of it in your hair to work. I use a dime size and only on the ends of my hair not the roots. I really liked this product and I use it anytime I want my hair to look great!

I used it with short hair every day. Now I have long hair, use it after wash, and in between for static and frizz. Smells awesome, used it for about 10 years

Anti frizz and texture

I've used this for year's to comb through, and control fly aways. It's unfortunate they've discontinued this product :(... Get it while you can.

This is a great product to apply to hair after shower and just blow dry. It's soft and very manageable. No feelings of byproduct in your hair, just soft, smooth hair every time!

My hair is very coarse, thick and long (mid-back). In spring it is frizzy and dry, in summer it is frizzy and hydrated, in fall it looks great and in the winter it gets really dry, flat and crunchy. This winter I was determined to fight the dryness, so I did some research and bought three products with great reviews for coarse hair. This is one of them, and it is amazing. I used it right after the shower and after drying my hair a bit with a towel. I split my hair in two and rub half-a-pump of the oil, (which is quite a bit of product, but coarse hair needs a lot of product), on each side starting from the bottom . It immediately hydrates my hair, it absorbs quickly and does not clog the pores of my skin when in contact (which can be a big issue with oily products). It has a very nice smell, although it is strong.The other two products I use in conjunction with this oil are (1) OGX awapuhi ginger shampoo and (2) HSI Professional Smoothing Hair Mask as conditioner.
