Works well
I have a leather couch with a worn area that had gone through in a few places. I inserted pieces of the fabric in the biggest holes and each night for 6 days I put a thin layer of gunk on the holes and the worn area. It looks like it will hold up pretty well. The directions are good and mixing the different colors works well.

Good clean repair.
These kits work well to cover up cracks and tears in vinyl and leather. I fixed a small area on the cushion of my couch. Color match guide worked well to get me a close match. I suggest mixing a little lighter color as it dries a shade darker.

Color Match Off
Product works fine but I had trouble with matching the color. I should have tested a spot before using. Directions said the color would darken after drying so I went a little lighter. Color didn’t darken.

Don’t hesitate, if you do leather repair you need this!
This product is fan freaking tastic! I do professional leather handbag restoration and I’ve used many products out there such as uncolored leather filler etc, but this product has a definite place in my toolkit and I’ll repurchase over and over! It works to edge raw leather edges and even to my surprise a very smooth binding and deep scratch repair! People who complain about this kit: it still requires having some finesse and skill, it’s very easy to use but it’s not going to make you talented if you aren’t. Mixing colors takes some practice. I suggest using those little plastic sample containers (the kit comes with ONE) to match your project. Mix what you think is the right color and paint it onto something (I use clear plastic sheets) and let dry. You will find it dries DARKER than what you think, so take this into consideration. Keep mixing and doing this test until you have a good match! Love this stuff!

Awesome Product!
We purchased a vintage 1950's chrome and vinyl kitchen dinette set and spent quite a pretty penny on it at an antique gallery. After a deep cleaning, I found many little cuts, tears and holes in the chairs that I didn't notice when purchasing. I knew if they weren't repaired, they would only worsen with use. My only recourse would be to reupholster the 4 chairs and I wanted to keep the set original if at all possible. Found this little kit here on Amazon and thought, "Give it a try!" To my amazement, it worked beautifully and no one can tell where the repairs were made. I will admit that my background in art helped quite a bit in matching the colors, but you must play with the mix until you get it just right. I truly loved that the wet material dried true to color...no lighter nor darker. That's a plus and helps tremendously. My advice is to take your time and do not rush the process. Follow the directions! It's much easier to do a job right the first time than to do it over. So much product is included that you can afford to experiment without running out. I don't know how the repairs will hold up with use, but only time will tell. This kit is actually making me think of starting a side hustle of vinyl/leather repair when I retire. Great stuff!

Does a decent job
The tech is pleased with how easy it is to use. Color coordinating was quite accurate.

Worked great for what I needed.
Repairing a leather jacket rip I cut a piece of Gorilla Glue Duct Tape and slid it beneath the rip and lined up the separated leather and pressed down onto the duct tape beneath the surface. That held it in place so that I could begin to repair the rip (also provides some reinforcement). Brown color was almost a match but had to mix a little black to darken it. Followed directions and allowed to dry before applying a new layer. Three layers and it looks about as good as a professional job that I had done about a year ago after playing with my dog (big mistake thinking the leather would hold up to playful dog bites). So I think maybe another layer. Not necessary, but to make the rip line a little more invisible. And still have PLENTY for future repairs.
