Plant Therapy Naturally Unscented Whipped Shea Body Butter 8 oz 100% Vegan, Gentle and Hydrating Base

I like the no scent since I tend to be allergic. Very smooth.

It’s excellent, I use it to carry my essential oils, and it’s fantastic on its own aswell… I love plant therapy, you won’t be disappointed!I was going to make my own butter base and lotions, but hadn’t got around to it yet, so I purchased this (next best thing) so I could continue on my DIY path of my own Eo based concoctions. And well sometimes u need a cream base instead of carrier oils especially for Eucalyptus rubs and pain management… For instance Copaiba when added to carrier will last longer and when added to a cream I can get 3-4 hours of relief… Up next is balms and plant therapy has those too…I purchased because this was an unscented base cream, crafted for blending and it suited my purposes, I was surprised however at its fantastic quality… I will be purchasing again and again it’s part of my kit now and always…Ps. My standards are among the highest, I’ve worked with doTERRA and Young living, Plant Therapy just keeps amazing me time after time…AgainI was going to make my own base butter, and one day I still will… But when plant therapy makes it this easy to have a very high quality products ready to work with ready to blend, I’m making medicines that I can use right now instead of waiting for the day to craft my own…

I love Plant Therapy as a company for their pure, often organic, plant based ingredients.The company that produces my favorite shea butter blended body butter decided not to produce it anymore. Or if they are, I can't find it anywhere. I scoured the internet looking for a replacement, read lots of reviews, did my research.I decided on Plant Therapy's unscented body butter because I liked the idea of using my own essential oils to scent it if I wanted...or not!The consistency is just okay. It's not particularly thick or rich. It moisturizes "okay". I wouldn't say it's any different or better than some hand lotions I have.The unscented part is perfect. Don't detect a thing.What bugs me the most (and if this part weren't happening, I would have scored this product much higher) is that it beads up after I massage it in. At first I thought I had really dry skin and it was flaking off as I rubbed it in. Nope. It's the cream. I have to use a towel to wipe off the annoying little beads that roll up and stick all over my hands.It's annoying, and makes me not want to reach for it.Sorry, Plant Therapy, I wish I loved this product more!

Does not last as long on the skin as straight shea butter but it is a dream to put on my skin. Makes my skin feel silky smooth. Spreads way more easily than raw shea butter.

No scent. just soft healthy skin

Unscented. However, the consistency is "watered down" compared to Body Shop's brand of body butter. I also feel like this product doesn't moisturize or last as long either. Likely won't purchase again.

I received a free sample of this with a previous purchase of lavender essential oil. My mom tried it out, and was immediately in love. This larger tub arrived with the safety seal lifted up a little, which is a concern, but unfortunately I so not find out until it had been opened completely and used a few times. Mom is happy with it so far, so I don’t know if anything was wrong per se. Maybe someone took a sniff and mailed it back. It is very moisturizing, doesn’t leave a greasy feeling, and has a light fresh scent to it thanks to the natural ingredients. No heavy perfume.
