Excellent (but you need to know)
It is honestly Fantastic, customisable, comfortable. If you are one handed keyboard person like myself, you will love this. However, here is what you need to know. It acts a gamepad input and so certain games will think it’s a controller. What does that mean ? Any games that you use a controller for will now have to choose between it and your controller and it can cause issues. Some games will use mouse still but change the keyboard input so you are playing with a weird hybrid split. Basically a bunch of game issues in terms of controls.Never fear you can solve all of this by disabling the in game controller function from its properties. This will cause it to stop functioning as a gamepad and only as a keyboard. This means you loose joystick functionality but can still map everything you need.I didn’t know any of this before buying and thought I had wasted my money. Now it’s all sorted, I would recommend this 100%

Different from a normal keyboard..
I debated one of these for a long long time, hours and hours scouring the internet for reviews, but like anything you'll always get mixed reviews so I thought sod it, I'm just going to do it. Firstly I will say it is VERY comfortable, the way your hand sits on it is nice and plush underneath your wrist, I've only been using it two days.. I games with it for about 3/4hrs last night, I did find myself looking down occasionally, but that's just the muscle memory with my keyboard, I know over time I'll adapt to it, the buttons have a nice feel and with a short actuation point, my inputs register a lot quicker and you can definitely get smaller more precise movements with just a tiny bit of pressure, my desk isn't the biggest either, I have limited space, so to just have this with my mouse, gives me MUCH more room for mouse movements. As my mouse would occasionally hit the right side of my keyboard and sometimes get stuck underneath, overall I'm happy I got it, with some more getting used to, which will come over time. I know I made the right choice! Finally I just want to say I know Razer Synapse get's a lot of flack about it being below average. I personally own a naga trinity mouse too, and now this.. I haven't had any issues with disconnections or rebinding keys or adjusting anything at all.. whatever I've wanted to do in Synapse.. it's worked. Sorry for a lengthy review(I've just realised how long this is) It's a good Product!

Once you use one of these, you will never game the same again..
I upgraded from my old membrane Nostromo, which is almost identical in look except the Tartarus has an extra row of keys and of course it is optical. For gaming, especially FPS shooters and RPG games, this is just amazing and once you start to use one, you will never be able to game on a normal keyboard ever again. You can fully program any key to any function plus you can use keys as a full analogue controller axis. You can even program 2 functions to the same key.. For example, a soft press is walk and a full press is run. This however, I am finding a little annoying, by default it takes the slightest of press to activate a key and I find because I rest my fingers on the keys slightly, this is sometimes pressing a key when I do not want too. However, this can be adjusted in the software so that you need to have a few mm of movement before the key is registered as a press. The software also controls the full colour range RGB (although the colours are a little on the dim side). Another great feature is that the software will auto switch your game profile when it detects a game is launched. So you can have multiple profiles for different games which will auto switch on load. The down side: Apart from the over sensitive keys, the only other down side I have is the price, but I did find a good deal here, so take a look around.

Easy to setup & use, feels durable
The Synapse app was easy to use to configure the gamepad. Created a macro from the app that allows multiple commands and key presses assigned to a single key. Having the ability to change LED lighting is a nice touch.

Razer Tartarus Pro - Absolutely Terrible
I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with the Razer Tartarus Pro. Honestly, this is one of the worst gaming peripherals I’ve ever had the misfortune to use.First off, setting it up was an absolute nightmare. The instructions were unclear, and it took far longer than it should have to get it up and running. Once it was finally set up, I was greeted with the disappointing realisation that the experience was just as frustrating as the setup process. The build quality feels cheap and flimsy – certainly not what you’d expect from a brand like Razer. The keys are unresponsive, and the overall feel is very poor. It doesn’t offer the premium experience that the price tag suggests. Every press feels dull, and the feedback is almost nonexistent, making it difficult to type or game effectively. Most frustrating of all, it simply doesn’t add any value. If you already have a decent keyboard, do yourself a favour and stick with it. The Tartarus Pro offers no improvements or unique features that make it worth the investment. In fact, it feels like a downgrade compared to what you probably already have.Overall, I regret purchasing this device. It’s just not worth it. Save your money and look for something better. Razer should be embarrassed by this product.

Not for me (refunded)
The product itself seems like an ideal solution for gamers who hate full sized or even 60% keyboards.Construction feels solid with disappointing plastics, but generally overall the build was as I say, solid.I unfortunately had to return it however, as I just could not get used to the feeling of it. It feels like my fingers were arched more and almost more restricted. Due to the layout of the keys, I kept misclicking keys and overall it just wasn’t for me.I think it may be a better fit for someone with longer and skinnier fingers as you can literally customise every key to your needs and seems to be a good piece of kit, albeit a little overpriced.
