Great idea
Only thing I wish, would be that the hooks adhesives were a little stronger- 3 of mine came off the wall, but my dog is over 75 lbs so I need something a little stronger as far as the hooks go. I really would recommend this gate to anyone though. You can use alternative hooks to keep in in place if you have a larger dog like I do. Also, I have it in a very awkward place where steps meet two walls that aren't adjacent to each other. It's very flexible/adaptable to different types of areas you need to block off. Prompt delivery & packaged well as far as potential damage.

Holds pitbulls? No. Doesn't hold a toddler
Was shocked when this thing showed up. After reading all the reviews of people saying it holds their massive dogs back. Also, I thought this thing was supposed to be easy open? You have to unhook it in two different locations in order get by. Impossible to do with something in one arm. Sending back.

Make sure it's flush to the floor.
Left a couple inches at the bottom thinking what is she gonna do? Go under it? Well it turns out an 11 month old Great Dane mix can shimmy herself under if only a couple inches up. But only one way. Turns out the mesh gives more going on way and holds tighter the other. So now instead of keeping her out it traps her in. Sigh.

Garbage.
The gate is too wide, so, to fit on my normal sized door, the hooks have to sit on either side of the door frame, not on it. This means it will tear paint off. Also, because of the size of the sticker, the hooks have to sit a few inches off the ground, which means there's always going to be a three to four inch gap at the bottom. Even the instructions are garbage, with corrections seemingly drawn on with a pen and spelling mistakes (see photo)!

And stay flawless I'm satisfied with it
This gate looks very smooth. It is not only beautiful, but also a really high quality product. I bought this to test it. The gate is high enough that the dog can't jump over it. To be honest, this one is the best so far. This material is very good, of high quality and very durable. Installation and disassembly are very easy and it is highly recommended to purchase it

A life saver of a product with a puppy.
Great product. I have had two in situ for the past 10 weeks to keep my lab puppy safe in an open plan house with larger than average openings. The only problem at the moment is she fits through the cat flap. She looks too big but just glides on through. No problem for me as the cat is terrified of her anyway so won't go near the gate yet. As she gets bigger they will be invaluable. She tries everything in her power to jump up and get over it but just can't do it provided you lock the red clip in place. If I don't lock it down she can jump up and open it and escape. They are strong and easy to use. Highly recommended. A life saver of a product with a puppy.

It works for a small dog, but overpriced
I purchased this to use for a doorway to keep our young Boston Terrier out of the garage while I’m out there working.First the good. The product is sturdy enough for what I need. The mesh is fairly heavyweight and holds up to my dog’s little sharp nails. The top and bottom are reinforced with some material that doesn’t stretch, which helps keep my little pal from worming his way underneath. The supplied hooks hold super strong, and fortunately they include extras. The not-so-good: This gate is much wider than a standard doorway. That means I had to put the adhesive hooks on the drywall and not the door frame. When I needed to adjust the placement of a hook, there was no way to avoid damaging the drywall. There is no way you can place these adhesive hooks on drywall and not damage it upon removal. I’d be surprised if they wouldn’t tear paint off of wood trim. I think it would be nice if the manufacturer would offer these in different widths to accommodate standard size doorways. The nitty-gritty: Overall, the product does the job I need it to do, but I do think it’s overpriced for what it is. I think it’s also important to consider that there is no way I would use this at the top of a stairway to keep a child from falling. It’s sturdy enough to be a physical deterrent, but I wouldn’t rely on it as a safety device. If you plan to use this for a small dog, be sure to mount it as close to the floor as possible - and as tight as possible - because it does flex and it would be possible for a smart little fella to worm it’s way underneath.

Easy to assemble, install and retract....Not for every pet
Update: we had never left him alone. 30 minutes ripped to shreds! We just got a new puppy so I had to write about this one cuz I know how hard it's been for me to find each and every factor that I didn't even realize I needed. Great idea, mesh barrier fits just right in the doorway to our kitchen and is easy to use and install. So the gate itself is a winner...under the right circumstances. So, I didn't want to dis the product itself, because it does exactly what it says. BAM went up, totally adjustable, put it right back on. For the right person, it would serve the purpose precisely.I actually would have given 5 stars but, let's just say it's not for every dog.My rescue puppy made it a MUST-DO project."Mommy thinks she can block me from that room hahaha". So, we had to add some additional lock type mechanisms to make it work for our puppy. These were perfect factors for me to know when I bought it. So I figured I'm not the only one that will be helped, with the endless questions while you get a puppy.
