love it!
I bought this quilt because I am a side sleeper and I move around a lot in my sleep. I also wanted something much lighter than my current sleeping bag which weighs 7 lbs. Recently, I got a chance to try it out when I went backpacking in the High Uintas of Utah at 10,000 ft elevation. I loved it! It kept me very warm and comfortable without restricting my movement. I definitely recommend it. I bought the regular version and it worked great. I am 5' 10" and 160 lbs. I wasn't sure it would be long enough but it kept me warm from head to toes.Update: I took it on a recent campout where the temperature at nightfall was 32 degrees F. I was warm and comfortable most of the night until the temperature went down to 18 degrees. Then I needed an extra fleece blanket. I'm still delighted with this quilt.

Revised review: stuff sack issue favorably resolved
After noting my review, Paria sent me a replacement stuff sack. Can't ask for better service than that! Not sure why the review got a quicker response than my email over the same issue, but all's well that ends well. Thanks Paria!**Update: Used the quilt on a week-long motorcycle trip. Kept me nice and warm in my hammock with a sleeping pad and a rain fly. Had quite a bit of rainy weather, but the quilt didn't seem to draw dampness. Very satisfied, would buy it again. **Original review follows. The quilt seems pretty nice, but the stuff sack failed the first time I stuffed the quilt. Notified Paria via response to their email inquiry regarding my satisfaction with my purchase, with no reply so far.

Ultralight and compacked
Super light and compact. Workmanship seemed fine. I just got as chance to use this yesterday while backpacking with my kids. Wished they HD ad this in a long. Other reviews said good flour people who are 6 feet. I'm 5 foot 10 and wished I had the extra few inches. I had in in northern Arizona on the Arizona Trail and it got down to about 53 degrees or so. I was a little on the warm side. It is definately good to the 30 degrees it is rated to. I slept on a sleeping pad not of the same brand and it worked surprisingly well. I had never used a quilt before and never a down sleep covering or sleeping bag. Overall I'd recommend to friends but again wished it came in a long. I'm 5 foot 10. Overall good buy.***Update*** 5-30-2020I bought a second one of these for my wife for a bikepacking trip. She had never used a quilt before. She reported feeling warm and felt it covered her adequately. I also used it again and felt the length was sufficient. This thing packs pretty small and is super lightweight.

Missing straps
I bought this sleeping bag based on the specs and the many raving reviews. I was looking for an ultralight bag, 3 seasons and roomy enough so I could sleep on my side (which is super hard in a mummy bag).I also liked the design and concept of wrapping the bag around the sleeping pad.I would have given this product a 5-stars if it wasn’t for the missing straps. Without the straps, it was very difficult to wrap the bag around the pad and still have place to move inside. I tried to keep the pad outside but the bag doesn’t really close (not designed that way) so you either end up using a cocoon to keep warm or sleeping on the snap-ons which are quite uncomfortable.

Ok, but initially had odor and down migrates when sleeping
My first down quilt. It’s ok, but I wish I would have sprung for a slightly more expensive name brand quilt.Initially the down had a noticeable odor. It did not go away after hanging in my garage for 4 days so I washed it with Nikwax. It took 3 washings to get rid of the smell. Disappointing. In use (about 15 nights now) the bag has performed kind of well. The 30 deg rating seems reasonable, and the zippers, pulls, straps etc all work as intended. The bag packs down well (as expected) and is decently light weight although I haven’t put it on a scale. An issue I’m struggling with: I’m a side sleeper, and I find that after a few nights the down migrates from the center of the quilt to the edges. It seems to fall down easily due to gravity and the middle of the bag ends up with no down. So I have to tease the down back to the center of the quilt to get it semi-evenly distributed within the baffles. I’ve not had a down quilt before, so I’m unsure if this is typical of bags/quilts with side-to-side baffles, but it makes me regret purchasing this quilt as it will become an issue in the colder months.

Better than a mummy
Using a quilt while overnight backpacking is more versatile than a bag style sleep system. When used with a good R-rated pad under you this quilt will keep you warm all night. The closed in option at the foot allows additional warmth when you need it. Toss and turn all you want without that cocoon feeling of a bag. This quilt has a nice compression bag for when you are hiking and a larger knit pouch to let it breath when in storage at home. Try this quilt and you won't carry that heavy sleeping bag again.

Great for the price.
This thing is fantastic. Used it with a 40 degree underquilt for two nights that got down in the mid 30’s and I was plenty warm wearing shorts and a T-shirt. Packs down only a touch smaller than my zero degree bag, and weighs almost as much, but for the price I’m not disappointed.

Haven't used a sleeping bag since
Warm (not been remotely cold yet down to 5c in underwear and a t shirt), fairly packable, have used a lot in a hammock as well as on the ground with an inflatable mat slid into the bottom section, both in a tent and a bivvy bag and on friends floors, works very well, packs down almost as small as my microlight summer bag but not tiny, however I haven't even thought about taking that bag out since I got this.Only cons are that the zip can undo itself if you haven't clipped everything in properly and you move a lot in your sleep, and the straps it comes with are a bit long and fiddly, but these are very minor grumbles from a massive gear nerd! Also comes with a mesh storage bag to seep it nice and lofty and aired outhave been really impressed with Paria , I really want to try there tarp poles when i have the spare cash to purchase them, and their Tarp set looks excellent as well

A Promising Piece of Kit
I will not avail you with the pro's and con's of quilts versus sleeping bags; the arguments would apply to any product, good and bad. Instead, I will focus on the product in hand, bearing in mind that although I have not yet tested this quilt in the field, I have slept in it a couple of times to find the best configuration for me.The build quality looks to be pretty good with in terms of stitching and filling. It is rated to 0°C. Well, I don't and won't know about that - my days of winter camping are long over but it is a warm quilt and in bag mode, I don't see why it shouldn't live up to its claim. The material is a shiny nylon inside and out so no comfy cloth feel there. It is 78 inches long so, at 5'10, I can pull the quilt right over my ears and still have my feet covered when used in "duvet mode". I like the way that the footbox is zipped so that it can be opened right out at the bottom and straps at the top and bottom of the zip ensure that no strain is placed upon it when the footbox is zipped up. I found that the best arrangement for me is to have the footbox zipped up but not cinched to allow air in and to stick my feet out if necessary. If your feet get cold, the footbox can be cinched up tight or the opening can be infinitely adjusted to allow the desired amount of cool air in. There is no hood but this is a feature of all quilts. Although the top end can be cinched up around the shoulders, there is no padded collar to help keep the heat in.A strap is included to secure the quilt to the sleeping pad and stop it sliding off but I did not experience that problem. The pack size of the quilt is small so the inclusion of an enormous string bag was a bit of a mystery; having rolled the quilt up nice and tight, putting it into this bag allows it to floomf up again which makes it difficult to get it into the compression sack supplied. I therefore discarded the string bag and feed the quilt directly into the compression sack. I then noticed that the sack appears to be the same material as the quilt and would not therefore be waterproof. Being a car camper, volume is not an issue for me so I therefore discarded the sack and shoved the whole thing into a 5L drybag which is a more robust material and waterproof. All in all, the quilt looks to be up to expectations but it will be another four months before I can try it out in the field so for now, I will give it four stars.

Well made, but purely a good summer use
I returned this for the thicker one. Super light, warm and compact - but this30 degree is purely for rarely warm UK summer evenings

Great piece of kit
Great piece of kit. Packs down very small and is incredibly lightweight. Only negative is the condensation on the bag in the mornings.

Very poor
Not happy . Could have purchased a really cheap sleeping bag, taken the zip out and it would have been better !
