I realise mill creek is porting every single mainline ultraman show to blue ray (god bless them).... Though I honestly thought they would avoid this one since it's just a prequel to Ultraman Orb.... But hey at least it comes with another movie so thats a plus. I am glad none the less, and my Ultraman Blu ray collection grows larger by the months. And for only around 10 bucks? Pshhhh what a STEAL. Thats about it, I mean if your on a mission to collect them all then this will add to your collection nicely. And also the return of ultraman (also known as Ultraman Jack) comes in 2 days as well if you don't have it pre-ordered do it nowww the steel book version or regular version blu ray. Lastly Ultraman Ace and Ultraman X + Ultraman X movie blu rays comes in may. That's it, buy it. P.S. all of these come with digital copies for mill creeks steaming service but the app is only for phones at the moment. I also recommend to redeem it on the website not on the app because the app is still new and a bit iffy.

If I were to pick a series to get someone started on the modern Ultra series, this would be it. The characters are really engaging, the extraterrestrial, not only Tokyo settings are great, and the tone is a bit grittier than other modern Ultras I've watched. AND the best part: it's not a toy promotion platform. Orb Origin Saga should have had a full 20+ episodes made. The bonus episode, Ultra Fight Orb is a 30 minute mosh pit of classic Ultras teaming up. No real point aside from being the reveal of Ultraman Geed. and that's fine. I do wish it had a booklet like the other sets.

It looks good and I enjoyed watching the episodes and ultra fight orb. Nothing seems wrong and the subs are decent.

Nice backstory to the ORB series.

They did a great job with this explaining the dynamic relationship between Orb and Juggler. They also explore how Juggler became the way he is in the main series. The movie was a good addition to the series as well.

Well you cannot go wrong with these sets. I have been buying everything Ultraman from Mill Creek and they consistently are making a good product with everything you would want and didn't know you wanted

This Ultra Man Orb set was a great bonus to have and to add to my collection. I Love UltraMan. I grew up on Godzilla, Gamera and Ultra Man, so having this Saga is the cherry on top of my collection. Worth every pennie

Great picture quality. Pity it hasn't got a collectible booklet like some of the other blu-ray sets for Ultraman. Hence, only 4 stars given.

I love the Ultraman Orb series. So it was a bummer to know that the prequel was exclusive to Amazon video in Japan. I was very excited when I heard Milk Creek was going to be importing the Ultraman series in Japan to North America. Orb was such a strong show. And now fans have a chance to own the prequel series as well. The story is pretty much a prequel to the show. It details how Gai got his powers to become Ultraman. He had to learn to live up the role and responsibilities. The show also explores the slow rivalry built up between Guy and Jugglas. While it's not really that well written overall. Both actors embraced the characters really well and it's just great to see them interact with each other. The set also includes the short Ultra Fight Orb which takes place after the TV series and movie. There not really any spoilers or continuity issues. You can watch the short film and still get the story.
