1 of 3 things to keep on hand for emergency's
borax one of 3 things to always keep on hand. Borax kills ants. Brightens whites, cleans dishwasher, toilet bowls, easy to use, once I was using turmeric in a recipe spilled some on my cabinet it stained orange and ugly, used borax in water, and it removed the stain from the paint in less than 20 min so it works well, This is large size in foil bag will last a long time and is good to have stand by because of all its uses. Its value as a bulk sustainable item is good.

Works perfectly
I use the product for cleaning the pool and sometimes add to the washing of white clothes to brighten the whites.

Used to clean teen boys gear
Took the smell out, freshened up the color. The downside was that it did not displace completely in the wash and left grains of borax in some of my sons hockey gear. Overall satisfied with the freshness!!!

I got this believe it or not because
I had cockroaches. I put it in places where, animals or children can get to it. In a week they started dying and, now I keep it behind refrigerator. In closet corners. No more bugs. I also for a week sprayed vinaigrette and water on my kitchen counters. Happy to say it. Worked , you have to mix same amount of sugar with Borax. Do not put it where animals or children go or can get to it..

Use it with a liquid cleaner like Dawn dishwash
I used it alone and it hardened. Be sure to use it with Dawn dishwash or something similarIt’s good and gets things clean

Ok
Borax is borax, but the contents in this particular package solidified and was ground very coarse. Otherwise ok.

I use this for soft towels
I decided to try borax for washing my towels to pull out the residue from fabric softener that makes towels stiff. And it works great! I first used borax when I washed my babies cloth diapers. I read somewhere (don’t remember where- that was 40+ years ago 😉 ) to soak and wash the diapers with borax and laundry soap. I had the whited, softed diapers in town! The borax does that for towels too. I dry them with tennis balls to fluff them up. I’m happy using the borax every wash load of towels that don’t feel like hotel, rough towels!
