Very good product at a good price! These are nice because the wires go straight in the back and lock in , not the cheep stab type that can catch fire. It's a good commercial duty reciptical.

I don't know if these are double or triple wipe outlets. They are stiff. They should be. The side wire screws hold up well to compression when tightening them...no plate or screw stripping on the 18 I used.The term 'spec grade' generally comes with a secure-retention designed receptacle. I've heard complaint of many 'spec grade' outlets, they being 'too hard!' to pull a plug from. That is the point..to HOLD onto plugs. If you want a receptacle that holds lightly to the plug...don't buy a 'spec grade' outlet. Such an outlet (NOT 'spec grade') isn't worth the time spent to install, but it is an option.I specify 'spec grade' because a lot of outlets advertised as such are not ACTUALLY built TO the specifications grade as listed in W-C-596. IF you are looking for a true 'spec grade' product...look for the applicable stamp...and Pay The Man.

Top quality receptacles and the price on Amazon is actually quite reasonable. Sometimes I just get so busy in the shop it's easier to order these online and have them delivered, instead of visiting a big box store only to have my car/truck broken into.

This is a sturdy receptacle that accepts either side or back wiring. At $3 per unit, it's a very good value.

One of these when installed kept throwing the breaker. Fortunately I had extra and disposed of the bad one.
