These must be added to water and soaked for about 13 minutes before use. Tastes great and doesn't go bad while waiting for your next use. I use the can opener that goes around the outside and the lid can be fit back into place, just under the white plastic lid. I found that it stays fresh much longer than directed this way. These peppers cook well in pasta sauce, they look good, and the texture is fine.

I had first bought for prepping but we like to sample what we purchase. Now there is ALWAYS a baggie in the cabinet and a jar in the spice rack full! We use them in everything we use peppers in. Soak in hot water 30 minutes before making omelets and they're great! Best in soups and rice dishes. I cook them right along with the rice for pilaf. The chopped onions are awesome too! Plan on ALWAYS having these on hand! Will be going to the lake with us too!

Very tasty

Good quality but a little pricey for a can that is half-full at best. I don't know why they waste so much space by using such large cans and only filling them half-way like this. Put it in smaller cans that take less storage space from customers ore fill these up and charge accordingly.

Came as described. I was worried about it being a good ways into the shelf life for the price I paid, but it was a fresh canning! I opened it up as I do want these as daily back ups to fresh peppers. I made sausage red beans and rice with them an no one knew the difference from fresh. I live in a highly hurricane prone area and live a ways from town. Having back up foods is always a good idea. These did great. I did take it from the #10 can because of course it's not fully filled but donr by weight instead. I pilot it into 2 quart jars almost perfectly filled with oxygen absorbers and closed it up. It says use within 1 year of opening, I should use these up well before that.

I use this product for everything from omelets to meat loaf and spaghetti sauce. The only thing is the tiny bits would be more pleasing to the eye, if the peppers were more visible. The taste is there but the eye appeal is not.I think strips instead of bits would also fill the can space for an extra height, without the added weight.I purchased 4 of these to keep on my shelf at all times! Great product overall!

So sweet I like to eat them and let them melt in my mouth. Best smelling too! Great taste!
