YETI Tundra 65 Cooler Desert Tan

this is a great cooler, it’s pricey, but kept everything I had in it cold for a week long road trip with hardly any ice-melt!

our new Yeti cooler kept our wonderful buy for New York Steaks frozen solid for 5 days!The cooler is heavy & a little expensive, but I checked with our friends who have had a Yeti Cooler and used it for 10 years of transporting wild game meat. They swear by it & consider it a good investment.After making our 3-4 day trip from AZ to northern MN, we agree that it is a super investment & if needs to be a little heavier to keep food frozen…then we feel that is perfect too!!

Great cooler. Durable, well built. Love the color. Handles are functional. We drove for 2 days with it in the back of our truck and we still had ice when we reached our destination. Great cooler.

A great purchase for a great price

This cooler is amazing! Truly a quality product! It stayed cold for days. I followed the instructions to pre chill the cooler by adding ice packs for 24 hours prior and I had no worries about my items staying cold and safe while camping. I wasn't sure if I would like the rope handles, but after carrying the cooler I realized they were so helpful and a smart design feature. The latches are very durable and keep the cooler closed tight. It is a quality item that I'm so glad that I invested in. This cooler will last for years to come!

This cooler is the BEST! I purchased as a gift for my husband (someone who is hard to buy for because when he wants something, he just goes and gets it). We filled the cooler with ice on a Friday morning and the ice outlasted our camping trip. There was still ice in it on Tuesday. My husband Kept checking it throughout the (hot) weekend and he was amazed that there was no water collected at the bottom of the cooler. The ice remained perfectly intact! The other cooler we had did a great job holding the water because the ice melted so fast. Since bagged ice can be so expensive to repeatedly buy (I mean, who wants to constantly purchase frozen water?!), not to mention the inconvenience of having to go and get it, as active as we are, we figure the cooler will pay for itself in no time. My husband is thrilled and can't wait to take it on his bear hunt in September (an extra added bonus that the cooler is bear proof). We have thoroughly enjoyed our YETI Tumbler and thought we would give the cooler a try. Best decision ever!

We gave this Yeti the ultimate test: Loaded it down with meat, milk, juice, beer and eggs then placed it in the back of our pickup truck with a campershell while we road tripped through: Death Valley, Las Vegas and northern Nevada for three days. We used two Yeti blue ice blocks and a bag of regular ice. Still had ice at the end of day three.I really wish I had waited a few weeks to buy the Yeti with the wheels. This one is unwieldy for one, especially when weighed down. I've been looking for a wheel set, no luck yet.
