One of my favorite sewing threads, Gutermann "Mist Grey"
This is CONSISTENTLY a quality sewing thread. I use it on my Janome sewing machine and or hand sewing for hemming. I love that it has NEVER snapped. I have made many dresses with gathered ruffles at the bottom plus curtains and anyone who has made something with gathers on it holds their breath when they are pulling the gathering thread lol...I repeat I have NEVER had this thread snap on me! I use to have a matching spool of thread for everything I made, but I have wised up and now have white, off white, a couple of browns and 3 shades of grey plus a black...most everything I make now 1 of these threads will blend in. If I have something that is bright and I am going to be doing top stitching on it then I make sure to get a spool (smaller spool) of an appropriate color as I want the finished article to look nice. When I have to replace a spool of thread I always look for a Gutermann spool whenever possible. I would suggest to anyone!

Gutterman threads may be more expensive than a local sewing store , but the quality is far superior (at least to me) .
