I have several Botanic Garden serving pieces. I've taken them to many potlucks and they have held up very well; very durable. Someone always mentions how attractive they are.

I have collected Portmeirion Botanic Garden for over 35 years- even visited the factory in Stoke-on-Trent years ago- and was very surprised to see Made In China written on the dish. After googling, I see that China is where this old English line is now being made. I’m very disappointed. I was trying to replace a much nicer quality, old covered casserole dish. Though this replacement is very pretty, it lacks the heavy quality of my oven to table original. The finish is very different, even the artwork. This must be why I have found pieces at Homegoods and TJMaxx. Why China?!

A solid, heavy piece that can be used as a casserole, or serving dish. Covered,it can keep foods warm while sitting at the table. Great for storage, then reheating of leftovers! Pretty too!!

Beautiful dish. Used to serve stew. Very happy with this purchase.

Nice size, quite attractive. But after a bit, i realized that the lid pattern did not match the body pattern. Odd, but same situation on the Portmeirion site. One would think that the pattern would carry through from the body to the lid. Anyway, I’m keeping it.
