Yu-Be is the bees knees!
Every winter my hands end up dry, cracked and, at some point, bleeding. It's just an unfortunate inevitability. No matter how much heavy cream, vitamin E oil or even Neosporin I used, nothing kept my hands soft and well-moisturized during the coldest months of the year... until I discovered Yu-Be!After doing extensive research on the best creams for cracked skin, my mother-in-law bought me a tube of Yu-Be for Christmas. She purchased a couple other brands of heavy creams, too, in hopes that one or all would heal my poor hands. I wasn't terribly satisfied with the other creams, but the tube of Yu-Be was the best gift anyone's given me in a long time! A few days of use, and my hands felt wonderful. After a week, they were in better shape than they are even in summer months. I loved it so much that I purchased a tube for my purse and a jar for home from Amazon just before I finished off the tube I received as a gift. The price per ounce is better when you buy the jar, but the tube is convenient. Whichever you choose, this product is well worth the money! A little bit goes a long way in repairing frazzled skin, meaning a small tube lasts a long time and makes this product an even better buy. When you first apply Yu-Be, it feels a little greasy, but it absorbs in a matter of minutes, leaving skin soft and silky feeling. I try to apply it just to the backs of my hands, since my palms are usually fine; I then rub the backs of my hands together to spread it around, sometimes put the excess on my elbows, rub my hands together to thoroughly work it in the rest of the way, and then wipe my palms so I don't spread the cream onto anything I might touch before it's fully absorbed. For a deep-conditioning overnight treatment, I wet my hands, apply the cream liberally, then put on a pair of stretchy knit gloves that I keep in my bedroom for this purpose (as well as for putting on stockings without snagging them!) and keep them on overnight. The next morning, my hands feel as good as they would after a week of normal daily applications.I highly recommend this product to anyone battling rough, dry and/or cracked skin!

Great for Exczema!
I have had exczema all my life and of all places, it's the worst on my face. <ugh> Everything that a doctor prescribes has a steriod in it and if you know anything about topical steroids, they thin your skin -- not good! I went to a new hair salon a couple of months ago and the stylist noticed my skin (of course) and suggested Yu-Be. She even had a couple of sample tubes for me to try. Yu-Be is not a medication, but it does have some serious moisturizers and that's good for dry, flaky skin. Plus, it has a little camphor in it which helps calm that ever-present itch! The smell of the camphor dissipates very quickly so you don't go around smelling like your grandpa and his arthritis cream. I will always keep Yu-Be in my skin care basket!

Thick, great for ultra dry skin in winter
For me, this is like Carmex for my face. I don’t think it’s at all intended for the face however I have a connective tissue disease and no night cream I ever tried could soften my face like Yu Be. I originally tried a sample and knew I had to get more. The contents of the jar is just a really thick ointment almost like wax. Because of the color, texture and smell, I say it’s like Carmex for skin. This may not appeal to some people but it’s also great on elbows, hands, feet, cuticles, etc.

Best Moisturizing cream ever.
This is the BEST skin cream EVER! I have battled dry hands for many years and have tried just about every moisturizing cream on the market. When I first received Yu-Be, I used it faithfully every night. After about 10 days, my hands were as soft as a baby's bottom, and I decided to use it every other night. My hands still continue to remain soft. My hands have never been this soft, and a small amount of the amazing Yu-Be cream is all it takes. It does a great job on lips, too. This cream is well worth every penny. I no longer have to spend money searching for a solution for my dry hands. Don't wait - Buy it now.

perfect product for the chronic hand-washer
i am currently almost 40 weeks pregnant, and what i call myself a chronic hand-washer; constantly meeting with people, working in an office environment and moving about. I have tried so many creams and lotions for my hands and find that they arent thick enough, or are thick but get greasy and you can tell where i have been by the finger prints i leave behind! this is an excellent cream that does have a camphor smell for about 30 seconds, but its incredibly smooth, non greasy, and i feel like when i wash my hands so frequently, it soaks in so quickly, that i don't wash it off entirely. it creates a "barrier" almost. i'd definitely recommend this cream to anyone who has moderate to severely dry hands, feet, elbows, lips, etc. i love it!!

Only Product I Ever Use
I originally ordered this product years ago when it was included as an item in a mail order catalog and I've never used anything since. You can use this cream anywhere on your body, including on your eyelids, and it instantly washes off of your hands with or without soap since it isn't a greasy cream. It does smell like camphor when you first apply it, but within minutes the smell disappears. This is the only cream I've ever found that can really make a difference when it comes to moisturizing skin so dry that it flakes (on my face) or so dry that I have little cuts in my skin (hands and legs). I can't imagine anyone using this being disappointed...and stop whining about the camphor smell! It disappears in minutes. I believe the first time I ordered this I read that it was invented by a Japanese doctor who made it for female mountain climbers in Japan whose skin was so raw they couldn't bear to touch it.
