finally some innovation on the QD mechanism
While this mount application does bring with it some tedium, at least it is some innovation on the QD mechanism. This is the FIRST QD mount of many, across many brands, where I did not have to modify the cam of the lever to get a tactile, secure latching out of the adjustment. A future improvement would be to have some nubbins on the pic rail side so that the springs did not wander off of the shoulder (hence the note to hold the plate while adjusting tension). it is a nice high rise with a true and firm latch. no doubt it will test the shear strength of my bolt on pic rail during recoil. nicely done, while most any product has room for improvement. wish they offered this version of their QD on scope rings, as it would be the best chance at iron sights under a scope on low profile iron sights.

Almost perfect, but alas, it's garbage
Design wise, this is exactly what I was looking for. The QR lever is excellent and I really like how the pic rail extends above and beyond the QR base. Sadly, the QR mechanism is absolute trash. When you take it off, the side the clamps down just wobbles all over the place and eventually the springs just pop out. Do NOT waste your money. I can't believe this made it off the production like, as if the designers just assumed no one would notice how glaringly defunct it is.

Perfect for a lower 1/3 co-witness, TRS-25 + AR-15...
I originally bought the 3/4" riser from Lion Gears to have a center co-witness on a few AR-15s... Which it did perfectly with my TRS-25, however I ended up not liking it being that low. Having an A2 style front sight would obscure much of my view, and really isn't all that appealing...So I decided to opt for the 1" riser instead. Which gives me a lower 1/3 co-witness, this is much better for keeping your sight picture less cluttered. In total I think I have 3 of these 1" risers and they all work well. I just use a little blue loctite when I put them on (as you should do with most/all accessories) and they hold tight with 0 wobble.

Great see through riser for the price
I have a Keltec CP33 with a collapsible arm brace and wanted to be able to use the factory sights when the brace is collapsed and held at arms length and my Vortex Venom (great optic) when shouldering the brace (which is now ATF legal...read up on it). The factory sights are centered 0.120" above the picatinny rail (yes...less than 1/8 of an inch). So I needed completely see through with no obstructions above picatinny rail after mounting. The mounting screw might stick up 0.050" at best which allowed me to use the factory sights. I like it.

Does What it Claims
Good quality and holds my laser up with a semi-clear view of the sights. I mounted with on a 22 cal with the rail on top. I wanted to use the laser and iron sights. I have the standard profile 3 dot sights. The screw does cover the majority of the front sight but I can see the top 1/3/. I have to try it out and see how it works. Sounded like a good idea.

Probably for many, would work
I measured meticulously, prior to ordering, this Lions Gear, seeming (after viewing incessant number of pix) to provide clearance necessary to see iron sights. But on receiving, the 'bolt go through' to other side of picatinny, was, in the end 1 1/2 mm too high. I would always be 'shooting high' in trying to see my front sight through this mount. Others with other rifles, this may work. It is sturdy, has a nice look, built well, and EZ (thumb screws); YMMV.

It’s that cheap for a reason
The hole that the pin goes through to tighten the mount down was drilled too high on the part I received it would be fine I suppose for an air soft or something but if you intend to use this on a real firearm spend a little bit more and get a better quality . I just needed it for parts for a project and i planned to cut on it a little bit so it is fine for my needs but if I planned to use this as it is intended I might have returned it or considered it a loss for the cost. I’m sure there are some that are drilled correctly but this one definitely missed the mark

Quick attachment and removal
I needed to raise the sight plane of the holographic scope I had ordered for my TNW Aero survival rifle. This brought it right up to where it makes it almost automatic to my sight plane. It was easy to attach and remove with the scope. thanks.
