I need snaps just a little larger

These buttons are of good quality to make them work it is very important to have the right TOOL's .i made a canopy boat shade cover with these buttons and thay have held up great in the wind and on the water.i attach three pictures 2 of the shades i made and 1 of the tools needed to complete the job (the round part is what you seat the button on and the shaft is what you hammer to set button in place and the blue handle is what you make the holes in the material.their are many tools out their but these work for me .REMEMBER IT NOT THE BUTTONS IT'S HAVING THE RIGHT TOOL TO COMPLETE YOUR OUT COME.

the male side of these have very little lip for retaining the female side when snapped on. I know this because I have some other product's male side that has a screw in the middle for mounting to a wall -- those have more staying power and when you compare them, it's obvious that they have more of a lip to retain the other part in a more sturdy way.

In addition to the 3 questions asked, they also came in a nice, reusable plastic case. Though I'd not say these were "black"...I would say they are a darker "gunmetal gray."

The snaps are too brittle. It falls apart during installation because the metal is just too brittle and falls apart. I had to use at least 6 pieces just to install one snap. Unfortunately it's too late for me to return it. Find another brand that's American made instead of these poor quality China made. Maybe from another seller instead of Amazon. They seem to sell a lot of Chinese brand. Gee, I wonder why..

A little on the small side, but they work.

I bought different ones first and they crumpled like a dirty shirt when I tried to install them. These are sturdy. I did a practice install to make sure these would work and they did - I would still recommend this, just to be safe. My child’s pants will no longer be at risk of falling down. I wish I had ordered these first but live and learn. These don’t come with tools to install but I have all the tools needed - if you don’t have the tools then order a kit that comes with them or order a kit separately.
