This product does a good job cleaning the garbage disposal, and leaves a fresh scent.

These garbage disposal cleaners are great! They take care of nasty buildup and smells. I usually put lemon wedges, baking soda and hot water down the disposal but after seeing this on an article for deep cleaning, I decided to give it a try. It works very well! Instructions are easy and fool proof. Only reason for 4/5 stars is because I did not get the blue foaming effect. Even without it, there was good cleaning power and took care of the musty smell!

I kept having a recurring strange odor coming from my disposal, even though I clean it regularly with baking soda & vinegar and don’t put a lot of food in it. I had to use 2 packs the first time, one after the other, but now it’s been a few weeks & no more odor at all! My sink didn’t have water hot enough to activate the foaming so I ended up using about 4 cups of water I heated up first in the microwave- that did the trick! This is a product that actually does what it’s supposed to.

These glisten garbage disposer packs are amazing, they easily fit into the drain and clean the pipes as well as leave a nice fresh lemony scent. With the power of plink and foaming powder the blue foam turns white once it is finished working and goes back down the drain. I have noticed a fast drain with no backup however I recommend this be used weekly or bi-weekly depending upon use of disposer. For interim treatments you can use baking soda and vinegar to help clear the lines after running the dishwasher. As your dishwasher is also connected to your sink it’s important to make sure nothing is blocking the drain from that rancid item that gets stuck. I highly recommend this product to everyone with a disposer.

Although I have not experienced any odour from our garbage disposal we use this product regularly. I like the ease of use, foaming action, fresh scent and am convinced it is an essential part of my regular maintenance/cleaning routine for the disposal. Definitely would repurchase.

I have a double sink and put it down the garburator side, which does not get much blue foam although the other sink gets lots of blue foam. Definitely eliminates odors. Only use it about once a month, but I do not use my garburator substantially.

This works great and is easy to use with easy to follow instructions on the package. The pricing has increased since I first bought the product 3 years ago which I guess is expected. I just wish you got more for how much you pay. All in all would still recommend
