Puts out what it claims
Im able to test loads, this inverter can do the rated 800 watts without overload or overheating. It puts out a modified sine wave, as long as you know this and use it with things that dont mind, it works just fine and does what it claims. Seems rare these days most inverters are labelled higher than they can actually handle.

I bought this as a back up for my other inverters. This powered a air conditioner no problem.

Product was broken
This is for the refurbished 24V model. I was concerned as soon as I got it. It came in a plastic bag inside a regular Amazon box. No original product box, manual, or anything else, only the inverter itself. I hooked it up my 24V source and turned on the switch. Nothing happened. Checking the fuses, all 3 were blown. The device did not come with extras. Luckily I had the same 20A fuses so I replaced them. This time the device turned on. I plug in a small 50W desk lamp to test, and nothing. I tried a smaller 10W lamp and still nothing. Both lamps work when plugged into an older 150W inverter I have so it's not the lamps. Grabbed my voltmeter and nothing is measured at the output. Definitely going back. I've had good luck with refurbished products before but this was probably missed, otherwise they would have found the blown fuses to know to check further.

Ordered 24v received possibly 12v by mistake, they sent a replacement possibly another 12v.
The one I received that was suppose to be 24v said 12v on the power inputs, the box and manual stated 24v. They sent a replacement and that too said 12v on the power inputs. Seller ignored my question about if they were all stamped 12v on the inputs, so good luck. I sent both back as I don't need a $40 paperweight after I possibly fry the internals or burn my house down.
