This unit exceeds my expectations!
The sound quality is what I expected from JBL, and more! Deep bass, robust sound throughout the room. On certain movies I have to turn down the bass to keep my pictures on the wall! Very satisfied. 😌 Set was simple and no issues doing so.

Common Issue - Audio Cutout
There is a common issue with these soundbars. The audio will cutout during low volume audio when using SPDIF / Bluetooth (other reviews here and Reddit posts confirm the same). It appears that JBL is unwilling to resolve the issue.If you are going to use analog, it does not appear to be an issue. But digital inputs are a no-go.

Bad delay, drops voices
This product has a bad delay (a significant fraction of a second) in the audio coming on once sound begins. For instance, the beginning note of a song gets dropped, or the first syllable or two of someone's voice. Any time the sound channel goes quiet and comes back on, this drop-out occurs. There's no reason for a modern sound product to suffer from this kind of bad firmware design.
