These rice bowls are well made, attractive, and just the right size. Excellent value!

I love these bowls. These are quality porcelain made in the traditional Japanese odd number set, beautifully decorated with authentic, time-honored patterns, always mixed. Restaurant quality. These are the real deal. These are dishes anyone would be proud to not only use, but also display. This size is for serving gohan, plain, cooked rice. Hone your hashi skills (chopstick). I have purchased other items from Saikai (sara and soba choko) and the quality is always present. Great company.

Ordered 2 sets and they were packaged so well- bowls were wrapped in a nice pretty sturdy box and then in the cardboard box. The bowls are just lovely and you can tell they are well made - very light weight but not flimsy. The patterns are very attractive and will display nicely. Maybe a little small as a rice bowl since I have big eaters but I can easily use them for ice cream, soup appetizer....Advertised as dish washer safe but since they look so delicate I plan to hand wash so the finish doesn't fade or get ruined.

We lost a bunch of beloved snack bowls over time, and I took a risk on these, and they've turned out to be just perfect for what we needed them for! I'm sure they're great for rice portions too, but we use them for personal helpings of savory snacks like chips and nuts.

This makes for a very good gift. I'm using mine, but look at them! and the box!

Great products, just like those you can buy in Japan

The bowls are gorgeous and very well made, but not sure what happened to one of the ones ordered. This was the set of 5 and the other 4 bowls are in amazing condition, but the 5th came like this. All in all I love these and I’m not going to return it since the other 4 bowls are perfect, but warning to others just be prepared if this happens to you too.
