I really enjoy this light “just the light” and the main reason I bought it is because it was half the price “with the commander” of the onf hanging light. And is still spectrum customizable. This is a really great quality light hardware wise however I hate the freaking commander software. Clunky, outdated, non intuitive. Honestly if the onf was 100$ cheaper I would pay 100$ just for better software to control the light. It’s so small to set custom spectrums, and time scales. if you go into the app often when starting a tank to get your light tuned in just about every time it lost my settings. And I had to spend 10 frustrating minutes every time just to fix this. I may return and just spend the money on the onf. And it sucks cause for the price point and the good quality hardware you get Chihiros could excel in the planted tank community for cheaper alternative lighting. But I guess that’s where you say. “You get what you pay for”
