This set is extensive, but it can be set up a little at a time for the younger kids. My one and a half year-old grandson absolutely loves it. He and his father got down on the floor at Christmas and played for hours. Started out small and then grew the entire village.

Update: I am very impressed, the very next day after I wrote my first review, I got a notification that I had a package on the way. This company had replaced my product immediately and the new one works great. I would definitely recommend this Dino track!! Customer service is great, it comes quickly, and the track is cute and super fun!Original Review: This dino race track is really cute and I was super excited to give it to my daughter for her birthday today. However, the first time playing with it and one of the cars is already not working and the second one seems like it is already starting to struggle even with brand new batteries 😞. A real bummer! If this issue were fixed, I would probably give 5 stars because my girls are having a blast otherwise.

Could use better quality trinkets. Love the track, easy to assemble. Recommend it for a 4 yo as the 7 yo received the gift and left it untouched after first use.

My 5yo is rough on his toys and it took several months and a hard overhand spike to the concrete ground that broke something inside one of the cars before any part of this stopped working. Even then the car still looks perfect and is rollable, it just won’t run by itself anymore.My Little spends HOURS w this toy! The cars can really move & will keep going for half a day solid before needing one new AA battery. They can go uphill or over your feet (or the dog’s tail on one memorable occasion), & the track is ENORMOUS!! It takes up half the playroom floor when he gets it going. The dinosaurs are awesome all on their own, and when used w the track it becomes our own little Jurassic Park 🥰5/5 stars, would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who likes cars or dinosaurs.

Bought for 9yr of girl who loves dinos. She was able to out together by herself. She made a dinoland. Only thing we would like is more of the track joints (only comes with 2) and the option to buy more of the battery operated cars. One is a jeep and other looks like SUV. They are not the same speed. We have played with it almost everyday for 2 weeks without an issue. It's fun for family involvement. We play with them together.It's kind of relaxing just watching the cars go around the track. ASMR. Have fun it's worth the buy.

Caution: This set may not be compatible with other flex track sets. Would be 5 stars if compatible with competitors track sets.Summary: TEMI tracks are not as wide as other sets. TEMI cars are smaller, and not as solid or well-built as other sets. If you plan on owning only one set, this is a great set for younger children (2-4 years). At that age, an adult will have to assemble the track. These flex tracks seem to keep kids busy for hours (have spare batteries on hand!)Long version: I REALLY wanted to keep this set. We have two other sets; both of differing brands from each other – neither from TEMI. These two sets connect perfectly – track and cars are the same size, so they work well together.I liked this TEMI set in particular because it has two roundabouts and two under-over tunnels. I’ve never seen these tunnels in competitors sets and most sets only have one roundabout. I wanted these features to expand our current tracks so that we could have more variety in track configuration (Grandpa gets bored of the same config!)The initial assembly of any flex track set is difficult for 2–3-year-olds but our 4+ year olds can put a track together with only a little coaching (especially on how to make a “circular” track so the cars go around time and again vs. running off in one big long line! ; )As you can see from the photos, this TEMI 348PCS Dinosaur Twisted Flexible Train Track Set is slightly smaller in scale (track width) than other sets. TEMI track has a 2” inside track measurement. Other brands have a 2 ¼” inside measurement. You “can” hook these together, but it creates a “bump” or notch in the track edges which sends cars designed for 2 ¼” track off the track and under the couch.The Temi track seems to be of equal quality to other sets (the dinosaurs and tunnels are very well made for plastic toys – the dinosaurs are solid, not hollow!) BUT the cars themselves are smaller and of less quality than other sets we have purchased.My advice is that if you want a large set with many configurations, and you like this track set, buy two or more of these because they are not “standard” with most of the flex tracks that are on Amazon.Last note – we buy different sets from different manufacturers to get different car shapes and colors and different track designs – like crossings (“X” track) and “Y” switches, bridges (bridges are always a pain to assemble) and turn around tracks. Also, we rarely use all the stupid little signs and trees - they hurt when you step on them and the kids rarely use them – and the manufacturers count them as “pieces” in the set so pay attention – go for more track when looking at number of pieces.

I gave this as a gift to my 3 year old grandson for his birthday and he loves it!! I sent my son pictures of this before purchasing, because we have so many grand babies that it’s difficult to remember who has what, and to keep each child’s current favorite characters, etc., straight. My son said, “He would LOVE it,” as he is really into anything dinosaur right now. I could tell as I watched him open it that it was a perfect gift for him. He kept going back to this gift and picking it up before opening his other presents. I’m sure he (and his daddy) will have a lot of fun building the tracks, tearing them down and then rebuilding them again!!

UPDATE: Since I ended up returning this through Amazon and purchasing another product, I changed my rating from 4 to 3 stars. It's a bummer since this has so much potential.I bought this for my niece and she loves it. The size of the tracks, the dinosaurs etc. The only problem is that neither of these cars are working. I don't want to return the entire care. I just want replacement cars. Some of her family members have tried to fix the cars and have determined that there is a design flaw with the gears in the cars.I saw in the q&a that I can contact the after sales seller for replacement cars, but I'm having a hard time finding the manufacturer online or through Amazon. If I could just get working replacement cars, I can change my review.
