This is one well made costume sword! It is hard to tell it is made out of foam. It is very durable and suits my Joan of Arc outfit perfectly. Even my boyfriend was all excited when I took it out of the box...he was impressed, so much so he tried to grab the sword to play with it. Before me?? UH, NOPE! Anyhow, I highly recommend this costume sword for is durability, likeness to a real sword, and the fun it brings to all ages (my man is 53, by the way...so, yeah, ALL ages)!

Let me start by saying, amazing LARP sword. The quality and durability are top notch. I've wanted this sword since I was a kid, and it feels remarkable to actually hold it. I contacted the maker because the tip of the sword got bent in the box it was stuffed into. Although it was a very large box, it was not long enough to fit the sword. The tip got bent as a result of this. Turns out, this is Amazon's fault, as they pack for shipping, not the Foamsmith. He is going to send me a new one free of charge! Get it together, Amazon! ;) UPDATE: Seller shipped me a new one, and it's beautiful. Absolute dedication to ensuring their products are satisfactory. And they are!

I wanted a realistic sword for AGES, but I also wanted one that I wouldn't accidentally hurt myself with. Bam, problem solved. I bought it with the general intention of using it for renfaires, and while I haven't been able to use it for that purpose yet (out of season unfortunately) I did use it with my rottmnt Leo closet cosplay (cringe ik) and my pirate costume I used for Halloween pictures. It's sturdy, has a nice weight to it, and again is very realistic all things considered. The few downsides I've noticed is that it's big, like, large big. My fault for not reading the dimensions of course, but just thought I'd point it out. If I put it on my hip it brushes against my boots, and I'm 5'9 and mostly leg. Also unlike a real blade it doesn't get thinner as it goes from hilt to tip, which throws off the weight a bit. Last thing is that the tip isn't as sturdy as the rest of the sword, meaning it will bend if you aren't careful. Overall for the price it's a great costume/cosplay sword, and I haven't tested it but I feel like it would be sturdy enough for light sword "fighting"

Looks good, nice weight and finish, i had to cut away some tiny lil production bits that werent finished to a tee, but overal great stuff.

Bought these for my son. Hes 14 and loves cos play and fighting with his 16 year old bigger brother. They love all thing swords, especially medieval weaponry, so owning a realistic, and more importantly a very sturdy, sword is brilliant. The only issue is the foam does mark walls and roofs. I noticed a bunch of marks on our kitchen ceiling and figured out it was the swords so just a word of warning. Other than that 5 stars from us.

Quality is insane - also got a bit of weight to it, so feels legit. Blade has a really soft foam material, which makes it safe for fighting your siblings. This Narsil of Andúril replica is really well done with the details. 10/10 would recommend, already had a lot of fun playing with this.
