Handmadecraft9" X 7" Women Vintage Style Genuine Brown Leather Crossbody Shoulder Bag Handmade Purse

I purchased this purse about a month ago to carry and hold my keys, cash, and other little loose items I use regularly. I love this purse. It Is well-crafted, has a beautiful hunter green canvas-like material interior, and is the perfect size for me. I would recommend this for young ladies around ages 16-30. The purse did have a pretty strong leather smell when I first opened it, but this was to be expected. It’s not horrid, let it air out outdoors for a day or so and you’ll be good to go. So far, this thing has been holding up great for me. There is 2 zipper pockets inside, and 2 more pockets without zippers. The strap is adjustable and sits comfortably at my waist. (I am fairly tall, this purse works for women of all heights.) The only thing negative i have to say about this bag is that the latch to keep it closed is not magnetic, you have to take about 10-20 seconds to fasten it each time. This does become a little annoying at times but I still find it very worth it! I usually hate purses but ever since I purchased this one, I take it with me everywhere! It’s very stylish and works great for girls who enjoy the old-fashioned, well crafted leather feel. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! 👍

Well, I totally dislike This purse inside of it is horrible. It feels like burlap and then the buckle they have on the private is really hard to close so I don’t like it at all.

I just received my bag and it is very nice. Large inside and long strap. You can see in the pictures it has three open compartments and two zipper compartments in thw main body of the purse. All the buckles were wrapped to keep from scratching the leather. Only complaint and it's a small preference the opening has to be buckled and unbukled each time a magnet closure would have been more convenient.

Others have discussed some issues with this purse (such as odor and stiffness), but I have found it to be truly lovely without any of those problems. It is very well-made with a strong canvas lining and sturdy overall construction. It also has an abundance of pockets, both zippered and open. Although the bag is small (which I prefer in a purse) it is more spacious than it appears on the outside. The leather is a rich color and is fairly supple already (though I assume it will become more so with constant use), and I have noticed no leather odor at all. The only critique I have is the fact that the shoulder strap has just one leather loop/guard to hold the excess strap length below the buckle in place. I love that it is adjustable, but since I'm not using much of the strap length provided I end up with quite a long "tail". I will likely either shorten the strap or add one or two extra loops to tame it a bit more. Overall, I love this purse and plan to use it for years to come.

This bag IS truly unique, though don't let the photos fool you. They do warn you in the description of the natural defects in the leather, but what they don't tell you is that the purse will be discolored (and I mean REALLY discolored---like 5-6 shades lighter in some places) and patched from leathers of varying quality, bordering on Frankenstein. When I got it, the bag felt so dry and the shoulder strap so frail/aged that I was almost afraid to wear it. Hoped that some mink oil would rejuvenate it but could only do so much as the strap is in such bad shape. There were also sections with stray pieces of animal hair still attached to it, but that may just be unavoidable due to the handmade craftsmanship.At the same time, however, I love the overall design of the bag. Great pockets and all of the zippers, snaps, and buckles are high quality. In fact, the bottom portion of the bag was made MUCH better that shoulder strap. Even the interior is nice and has a much darker green and higher quality fabric than pictured. The smell wasn't that strong when I first got it and went away fairly quickly. Probably would've kept it if it weren't for the shoddy strap, inconsistent color, and patches of stray hair.

I was a little anxious to buy this after reading the reviews. I thought I’d give it a try and I’m so glad I did. I bought this as a Christmas gift and it arrived on time, without any damage. I’m very pleased with this item. It is just as described by the seller. The metal fasteners and zippers are in good condition and in working order. The shoulder strap has five holes to adjust the length of the strap. It does have a leather smell but what genuine leather product doesn’t? The smell isn’t overpowering or very strong. It has two open pockets and 2 zipper pockets with the main pocket between them. On the front of the purse is a little pocket with a magnetic fastener. The entire purse closes with belt buckle type fastener. It is a little inconvenient to clasp and unclasp this buckle each time you want to open or close the purse. With all that being said, I’m very pleased with this product and I’d definitely buy from this seller again.

Wasn't what I was expecting.

This bag is exactly what I've been looking for. For a smallish bag, it has plenty of room. The compartments inside are roomy enough for anything I might want to carry. The small outside pocket holds my cell phone. The outside zippered compartment easily holds my grocery list, coupons, flyers and a pen. I don't even need the inside zippered pocket.The leather is thick and substantial. Saddle soap will maintain its appearance. The hardware is solid and heavy, not easily broken.And the smell everyone is talking about is (I believe) either leather stain and/or tanning oil.I don't think it smells like leather.I took care of the slightly heavy smell by airing the bag on my screen porch for 2 days.
