Love them. Able to easily paint them if needed.

These shelves are built sturdily, but they are not finished very well. Don't brush your hand too much on the surface, it's pretty rough. With that being said, you install them once and then don't touch the surface again, so who cares! I think they look great, and really helped tie my apartment living room together! Would recommend, may even get another set for my bedroom!

I really liked these just didn't realize how big they were.they seem very sturdy and they fit nicely with what I was doing anyway even with them bigger than I thought. All and all if I need more I would buy again.

Decent enough for the price. Not super sturdy but enough for a really small plant or a photo frames.

I am sure someone with a decent eye for decor and interior design could really use these!! I could not. They looked tacky on my wall—like they didn’t belong. They also look cheaper and duller in person. I think if you sanded them down and maybe de-stained them, they’d be wonderful. They are sturdy, though. I think if I was considering making some myself, I would just buy these because there is not much of a price difference between these and a diy project. If I had the time, patience, and skill, I would have made these look nice and pretty. However, since I don’t have any of that, this type of shelf is not for me.

The only thing I didn't like about it was the finish on it. So I sanded it down and refinished it with water based polyurethane. It turned out beautifully.

Exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the set of three rather than the three level shelf. They are very large and can hold all sorts of things. I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase just keep in mind that the ropes will take away some of the height
