Great value depending on your needs
Ok, it’s a $35 dollar gate. I didn’t expect some industrial strength gate at that rate. It is just over mid thigh high on me (I am 5’3”). I have an apparently hungry (she is well fed even if she says other wise) German Shepherd who likes to eat kitty “snacks” from the litter box so I needed a solution to keep her out that didn’t involve me climbing over a gate or having to move around other gates so my kitty could get into the room. This was easy to install and serves its purpose. My cat is fairly large and can go in and out of the “hole” easily. Now, my Shepherd could easily jump this gate if she was really determined. However, she is well behaved and knows that a gate means “off”. So if you are looking for an inexpensive solution with well behaved pets I would say check the measurements to make sure it works for your space and buy it if it does. If you have a naughty, determined doggy who tends to get into things or be destructive, this is not your gate. I wouldn’t have recommended this gate if my Shepherd was still a puppy (she chewed the house- literally, chomped every extended wall corner). This is a 5 star purchase for some and just simply wouldn’t work for others.

Good for blocking aging dogs
I bought to block my aging dogs from a bedroom when I need to keep the door open for our robot vacuum. We have a dog who, because of seizure meds, has a heightened sense of smell, thirst and hunger. He tries to get in to everything (cabinets, drawers, toilets, everything). I did not use the hooks that came with this though but rather some Command Strip hooks (see pictures) since my dogs are elderly and do not jump much nor do I have a small child to block off. The hooks I am using are working great and I'm not worried about wall damage. I hung it low enough the dogs cannot go under but high enough the vacuum can.The fabric seems as if it would tear easily so if you have a dog/cat that is higher energy and would claw at this, I would recommend looking around for another product. If your dog/cat is like mine and couldn't be bothered with clawing at it, this is well worth the money.

It works!
The fabric gate appears well made. All seams nicely finished and loops well attached. Super easy to assemble and hang. Installed this in a 45” space to keep the dog downstairs while letting the cats come and go as they please. So far so good.

Ok...for awhile
This thing worked pretty well for a few days. I put it at the bottom of my stairs to keep my 13-week old puppy from wandering upstairs. It didn't take him long to figure out how to crawl underneath it. Also, over time as he jumped on it trying to escape, the little fabric rings securing it to the wall stretched out and then it wasn't tight enough or close enough to the wall to work. I wouldn't recommend it.

DO NOT use on doors without a wood frame
DO NOT ORDER if you want to use this on a door frame without a wood frame. If you stick this directly to wall material the adhesive will tear the material right off the wall and you will have to patch it. The manufacturer mentions this but it was only apparent after we had ordered. Also the promo photo is misleading since it's clearly a door without a frame. Also one of the gates was missing its metal poles which keeps the gate rigid. Pretty disappointing but you get what you pay for.

Didn't work for my dachshunds
I bought two of these gates hoping that it would work well for my two dachshunds. Setting it up was really easy and my husband and I were really happy with how it looked. We used this to block the basement so the dogs don't wander into the basement by themselves. Unfortunately, they ended up learning to crawl underneath this net easily :(. We were trying to figure out how they did it since there wasn't a gap in between the floor and the net and noticed that they would just walk into it creating a gap. Ended up having to return it and got an actual gate instead :(.

Save your money
This gate is definitely not worth the price. It has the look and feel of something you would purchase at the dollar store. The gate is easy to install however the plastic clips break very easily and will rip the paint right off of your walls. Once you put this gate in place you have to remove both ends to open and close. If you are looking for a gate to block off a room great, but its not the best for an entry or exit.

A life saver of a product with a puppy and a cat
Great product. I have had two in situ for the past 10 weeks to keep my lab puppy safe in an open plan house with larger than average openings. The only problem at the moment is she fits through the cat flap. She looks too big but just glides on through. No problem for me as the cat is terrified of her anyway so won't go near the gate yet. As she gets bigger they will be invaluable. She tries everything in her power to jump up and get over it but just can't do it provided you lock the red clip in place. If I don't lock it down she can jump up and open it and escape. As I said they have been there for 10 weeks between lounge and kitchen and are as firmly locked in place today as when we fitted them without any adjustments. They are strong and easy to use. Highly recom
