Top end for single-bracket cards.
PROS:* Single slot bracket* Clears tall capacitors on some motherboards* Low enough watts to not need aux power* Decent enough for serious gaming* Budget pricing* 4GB Texture RAMCONS:* Not as fast as 1080 (duhhh)* Not low-profile* The extra 2GB of Texture RAM adds 30% to the card price. This is the best single-bracket card right now. I have 2 of these, plus one 2GB card. All of the systems are quad-core 2.9GHz and with this card, GTA, Overwatch, etc are cranked up to eleven. These are GTX 1080 chips that were not stable at the higher clock speeds, so they underclock them. Same silicon, same performance, cooler temps, lower wattage. Same as all the chip makers do for their different grades of silicon.I've had no problems with these running full throttle, though I'm sure, somewhere, someone needs the faster speeds of a 1080, or a dual-SLI rig with three compute cards added, or whatever. But, for budget gaming, this is great. Laugh if you want, but we run these in Dell Optiplex 755 systems with Q9550 chips, 8GB RAM, and SATA SSD (dual *x100, or single EVO). These make serious budget gaming rigs, topping out around 500 smackeroos in total to build up including LDC, Keyboard, Mouse, UPS, etc. Check Passmark, and you'll see. Not top of the line, but right in the sweet spot that plays all the things. If you need a low-profile card, the GTX 750 Ti from MSI is similar price/performance, but older vintage, though the 4GB version of those are really hard to find..

Too good for the money
Best video card ever for switching from one to two monitors.

Exceptional Performance from small card!
My goal was being able to play the newer games on my Dell, more specifically, FC4. I had bought the RX 570 which did a great job, but for some reason, it was extremely noisy. It made a loud whirring sound every time I played the game. The other games I've played, Fallout 3 and 4, Crysis, the card didn't make those horrible sounds. Realizing the cost of gpu's are rapidly escalating, I checked out the GTX 1660 Super. I checked it with games-debate and it was superior to the RX 570. The frame rates are incredible! Also, a BIG plus was the small size of the card. I already had an 8 pin adapter to plug it in and it installed super easy and ran like a dream. The temperature of the card runs within the norm and has made an incredible difference in game play. I highly, VERY highly recommend this card! It's a good price for the card and it delivers exceptional performance if you're unable to get the higher end gpu's. It's worth the price!

Great GPU, would absolutely recommend.
I was able to push Fortnite DirectX11 on max settings with solid 60fps. This works for Rainbow 6 Siege, Marvel Rivals, Doom, and literally everything I want to play. Great for editing too.

Could not register with Zotac
Physically installed 2 slot card in Dell Optiiplex 9020 and managed to get everything to fit. It is wide but not long. Started up the computer and filled out the registration info for updates. I was never contacted or received anything from Zotac. After the computer was on for a bit, apparently Win10 Pro installed it's own drivers and it began to work and second monitor began to work. Still don't know is all the drivers are installed, but it works.I am not using it for gaming. I am using it for graphics processing.Yesterday when I turned on that computer I got a Zotac page on the screen that wanted me to sign up for software updates (again). Not sure what that means. But it is working (as far as I know). Don't know what to make of all this, but it does fit and displays as I expected.I am giving it one star off for the drivers issue.

Great Video Card for the Price
I had a new computer ordered. I asked about adding a video card. They wanted almost what I paid for this card for an older card, previous memory grade and less ram. With this card and paying just $15 more I got the latest DDR6 plus 6GB of ram. Downloaded the NVidia driver software with no problem and looks good. Using new computer since September 25. Installed this video card before hooking it all up. Loaded the drivers after downloaded NVidia drivers. No problems at all. I had what I thought was CPU Fan noise. It would go away and come back. Quiet for almost all day and start getting noisy. I finally laid the computer on its side while running. It was making a lot of noise. To my surprise there was a wire between the power supply and video card that was barely touching one of the fans. I tucked it away where it would NOT come back out. Just as quiet now as can be. Should have seen that first thing but didn't.

Good value considering the current ridiculous graphics card market
I got this for my wife. She uses her i7-12700K based machine mostly for rendering still images, so this is just what I thought was an adequate card which is below the steep part of the price performance curve. After building the machine I ran the Passmark tests and was surprised to find that this has substantially better 2D performance (1255) than my RTX3070 (943), 3D performance for the 1660 Super was 14,168 compared to 24,787 for the RTX3070. Considering she mostly needs 2D and I mostly need 3D I guess we both got what we needed. While testing and installing software I ran a 3440x1440 144Hz monitor on Display Port and a 3840x2160 TV on HDMI and both looked good. No signs of the card running out of performance or bandwidth. On an old GTX980 the fast monitor gave color fringes until I turned it down to 60Hz.I wouldn't hesitate to buy this card again for any normal PC. Unless you are playing very high resolution 3D games it should do everything you want.

Price was great in 2018 of $83.00
This is 9/21/2024 as of today this video card Zotac 1050Ti has been holding it's own ( working still ) and from 2019- 2023 being used as a V.R. video card for my very used Rift CV1 headset that uses low graphics to run so it worked with the Zotac 1050ti perfectly in an Microsoft App called Altspace for 3 years no stop. This card does not require much power to run, in fact there is no power plug to add it just runs off the computer's power slot or Bus system. P.S. I would not pay $409 For this video card it was a great deal @ $83.00 at the time in 2018.
