Buy This Book for yourself, friends, colleagues, and loved ones!! I recently read "Atmamun" and "A Master's Secret Whispers" back to back and have already circled back to uncover even more.I particularly enjoy Dr. Gupta's direct, raw, authentic style. He's not afraid to tell it exactly how it is and could care less about Popularity Landgrabs covered in 10 Step Motivational Wrapping Paper or bragging about his war stories and client list - it's about the uncompromising Truth in life. It may take a second to adjust to his style or concepts but the eye opening is well worth it.I've also found his discussions on 33 Voices to take on even more meaning having read these books (can be found on Soundcloud or Kapil's Twitter @KapilGuptaMD.)I highly suggest others do the same as the contextual situations and discussions within both books allow for deeper understanding.

I will make this review very simple.Just “reading” this book will not be enough. Just “looking” at this book will not be enough. Unless you’re a True Seeker.While I’m sure anyone can find something in this book, it will not resonate with you if you are looking for “prescriptions.” Fake truths that numb the pain for a few seconds and help you to “feel better.”Simply put, this book is full of Truths, but you may not like them all. You must have a certain level of awareness to completely understand this book. I’ve recommended it to many people, but I have told them it is advanced reading. Not because of the writing itself, but because of the Truth.There were times where I had to highlight and re-read; this is what happens when you’re slapped in the face with Truth. The one that can go back, the one that can stare at it, is the one that ultimately absorbs it.My interpretation of what I learned from this book is actually simple; having the knowledge that your mind is the prison that holds you captive allows you to not let it hold you captive. How can you be presented with information about the minds tricks and still let it control you?We live in a world of mental prescriptions and all the “seminars” in the world will not fix the mental prison you created.The only thing that will fix it is Truth and Understanding.This book is a lantern to navigate the cave of the mind.

Kapil’s words are impressively deep. There is so much wisdom embebed in this book. He calls it “the truth” and to me his words sounds like the voice I have been waiting to hear my whole life.After reading Atmamun, I feel even more at peace.I give this book as a gift now. Even though it is not for those insisting in living in blaminghood, victimhood or herohood, it will be the most precious gem for those seeking To Understand.

I agree with what he says. Reading it, you'll find elements of Ayn Rand and Echart tole. Essentially, he underscores enlgithement to be a continuous and spiritual process, and that it can only be found within. Ironically, I stumbled upon this author via one whom I don't really find very appealing: Naval ravikant. Goes to show, that you can find good things via subpar sources.

This is by far the best book i've ever read,If you can understand it - it is sharp enough to penetrate you.Just be ware - most people will not see or understand the great essence of it :)

I can read this book over and over and get deeper and deeper. The wisdom and insights are not your usual new age fair. This is unvarnished, straight forward (in my experience) truth. I devoured it twice. Some may throw it across the room. But you won't not be effected.

Many authors like to embellish facets of life we do not like, this book is like a razor that cuts straight through and tells it how is it. I wish I could follow through with this avenue, I think this life I'm on a different path and that is kind of private, but yeah, this book is not for everyone. That being said this book is one of a kind. I honestly was expecting something different from this book, I do not think I can even explain it.

Each human being charts his own path and embarks on its journey. You can’t follow a prescribed method knowing everyone’s journey is different. Challenges you overcome are specific to you. To get to your destination, your commitment should be impeccable. Don’t pursue anything with hopes / expectations. Develop an understanding nothing is permanent in this world and happiness follows despair, sorrow and vice versa.
