I never thought I would use a measuring tape for anything other than quick DIY things.This is handy for multiple reasons like using the continuous and volume measurements.(At this point I have been using this for 3 weeks)Positives- Made well- llLength is 5m- The Lazer has good distance and modes- Rechargeable- Belt connectorNegatives- (For some) The lack of inches on the tapeI'm doing a bathroom refurbishment so getting all the measurements for units, wall tiles as flooring was achieved using the this digital measuring tape.It's good for working square metres too.I mainly uses cms so the fact is doenst have Inches didn't concern me.The Lazer comes in handy for the times where I need to double check a distance. Small learning curve but was able to get what I wanted front this and I'll keep using it going forward on my home DIY.I've not been able to run down the battery yet which is a good thing.For the price of £ 6.99, I would say this is a good tool to have on your belt especially of you plan on making multiple measurements which includes depth, width and height.I've taken some detailed pictures so you can see what you're considering buying.I hope this quick review helps, if so please bash that "Helpful" button!Enjoy all ;-)

Absolutely love this product.Just want to leave some suggestions for the designers to improve this product from a "nice gadget" to an "amazing product":- The button to measure should have been much larger than other buttons (To avoid confusion)- A physical toggle switch should have been added to change from front to back-measurements (Currently it's hard to tell what mode you're in)- Blue tooth should have been added together with a button "send" (Not using an app! but to act as a keyboard so you can just get your measurement typed up on your mobile, tablet or pc ... just in mm to avoid dots and commas)- The back of the case should have been flatter (Currently I find it a little wobbly when placing it on a surface to measure the recess of a frame or window)- The off button should also turn the device on, as well as to enter settings mode (Currently you have to use the measuring button to switch the device on or to adjust your settings which I find confusing, especially when beeps are muted)

This is what I wanted for the projects I have planned. The laser is great for long distance measuring, even just for height in the house to save getting a ladder.The regular measuring tape is as good as any I've seen before and makes shorter distance measurements quicker or when there's nothing to bounce the laser on.The micro USB charging is superb so even a phone charger can get this powered so you dont have to keep a special wire. The reason I chose this one was the design style. It looks really smart and comes well presented and would make a great gift.Highly Recommended.

Nice chunky tape and good design but the led display is tiny and faint! Even with glasses on it was difficult for any in my workforce to confidently say which mode it was in. Sadly had to return this but if you are under 40 with good eyesight I reckon you will find it a great tool!

I used the tape measure a couple of times when I first got it, it was accurate and easy to use. I then didn’t use it for a few months and when I went to use it again the laser feature had stopped working. I contacted the supplier and they arranged a replacement. For some reason 8 weeks later the replacement had not arrived so I contacted the supplier again and requested a refund instead. They organised this without any delays. Their product is good, I just had a bit of bad luck - I’d have no issues recommending these guys.

My wife broke all my tape measures in the garden, thought I’d get a modern replacement. Like having a traditional tape measure alongside a laser, as I will use both interchangeably on the same job. Works well, easy to control and charge.

It is quite useful to have both manual and technical measurements in one place, no more climbing around furniture and trying t hold one end in place while you check the measurement on the tape far away.

Works ok but display is very small compared to size of the lcd. Tape lock doesn't function well.
