Good little portable radio. Battery life ia good, sound is good. Just wanted something cheap to have some music when Im doing outdoor chores and not use a phone or worry if ai drop it. This fits the bill. Sound is good. Ear buds are so-so but its cheap so they are just fine.

For well under twenty bucks, you can't expect much, right? Not the case with this little jewel! Somebody really did their homework when they designed this. The buttons are well laid out, the LCD is bright and clear, and the reception is as good as radios costing far more.After only five minutes, I'd auto scanned in all the AM and FM stations and had locked into memory all the ones I wanted to use. And using only a few button pushes allows updating the memory in seconds.Connecting this to an amplified speaker or a pair of headphones gives you amazingly clear stereo FM with loads of separation. Even the AM band was surprisingly sensitive, pulling in all the local stations as well as some from further away. Plus, it recharges very quickly from any USB port.This is a masterpiece of miniaturization along with sturdy construction and terrific function.

Super small, thin am/fm radio with memory presets, no speaker. Radio is rechargeable with no bluetooth, uses earbuds. Good sound and reception. Will easily fit in a shirt pocket.

I initially received an empty package on my first delivery. After I contacted Amazon, they promptly sent out a replacement, and I finally got the radio. I was concerned about its size, thinking it might be low quality, but once I powered it on, I was pleasantly surprised by the clear and loud sound. It easily picked up both AM and FM stations without any issues. Overall, it turned out to be a great purchase for a compact handheld radio.

Radio reception is very poor except under the most optimal conditions - outside, standing still. Purchased this to listen to OTA radio primarily while exercising at my health club. No can do. Loses radio signal far too often. Have tried multiple headsets, because that's the antenna, without any changes.

I realize I am probably an unusual consumer for this product as I primarily selected it based on the fact that it has an AM tuner. (Very few compact radios and MP3 players offer AM tuners) Overall, it's a very nice radio - Good quality, nice features, and simple design. But the AM tuner works in such a way that one can not manually tune in a station in the proper increments to receive the desired station. (It steps in increments that pass up my local stations and it can not be specifically tuned). That being said, it was impossible to tune in any local AM stations - the main reason I purchased it. Still a nice unit and great value, I opted not to return it but gave it to a relative. If you are purchasing to listen to FM this is a great radio for you. But if you are looking for AM, I would advise you to try something else.

Someone commented on the AM step value. Check item 6, page 9 of the instructions to adjust between 9khz and10khz. Should be set to 10khz in the US, Canada, and Mexico.FM works very well. It does pick up my local AM stations just fine.
