Good quality ideal for hospital visits
Really good product, nice and sturdy and easy to use. However after six months my gooseneck developed a problem. I contacted the company directly and they sent me a replacement the same week. Customer service is excellent. I would highly recommend.

Good clamp action, but will wobble when attached to your easel
Very useful piece of kit to hold a phone for image referencing leaving both hands free (and more importantly so you're not risking RSI by holding your phone up in the other hand the whole time). The clamping parts (both ends) are very good and firm. There's a useful notch in the device clamp so you can connect a charging lead while you use it, and the device clamp turns 90 degrees so you can set your device to either portrait or landscape. The arm is very flexible and you can easily bend it to the right height and position and it still feels reassuringly firm. However, if the only object you have to clamp it to is your easel, your device will bounce about as you make your marks on your canvas, which can get annoying. If you have an adjacent stand or table or another item of furniture that's unattached to the easel, it works better. I don't have a space big enough for that though so in the end I stopped using the holder and have gone back to holding my phone in my other hand while I paint, or standing the phone against a board on the easel or another part of the easel etc.

Really handy!
This Tablet Holder is a solid product overall. It’s super handy for watching shows, following recipes, or taking video calls without having to hold your tablet. The clamp is sturdy and holds well on desks or countertops. The only downside is that the gooseneck is quite stiff, so adjusting it takes a bit of effort. Once it’s in place, though, it stays put and does exactly what it’s supposed to. If you don’t mind the stiffness, it’s a really useful gadget to have around!

Brilliant 🤩
I have been bedridden for the last 5yrs in a hospital bed at home with a chronic illness that causes severe pain.I find it really painful to have my iPad propped up on a few pillows as it’s too heavy for my body. This is the second one of this make and model that I have purchased as my last one had been used day and mostly night for the last 3yrs and I bend it about quite a lot as I have to adjust my hospital bed depending on if I need to sit up or lay right back etc.. and my first one snapped at the base but I’m not mad at all as it’s lasted me for years!I accidentally ordered one that was shorter a few days ago and it just wouldn’t reach right round so I sent it back and managed to go through my order history and find the same one as it’s much longer and absolutely brilliant.I’m happy to say this is it set up and it’s brilliant! They are VERY sturdy and well worth the little extra money getting the longer one.I highly recommend 😊

2nd purchase, clear in the knowledge that this has a finite lifetime
01.12.2022 UpdateThe first one of these succumbed to the inevitable metal fatigue, snapping irreparably close to the clamp, less that two years since I bought it.Still, it provides a useful function and looking around at the alternatives, there really wasn't much between them, so I bought another the same.Clamp is still as strong. I'll be more careful with how I use it. The goose arm is still as initially stiff as the other. I'll try bending it in different places, see if lasts longer.27.04.2021 UpdateHaving warned about the strength of the clamps (original review, below), sorry to report that one of them has broken, the spring has gone and is now too loose to hold an iPhone X Max lengthwise. The other one is still good and can still hold an iPad but clearly, it’s only a matter of time before that one goes too. And then it’ll be useless.Disappointing. Since purchasing it in February, it has been used once or twice a week but that’s hardly heavy duty. Internally, the item is far less robust than it appears. That will cost it a couple of stars.Original review. We use this, clamped to the headboard, to watch TV in bed. It's does the job perfectly, is easily adjustable and secure. Only thing to look out for is the tablet clamp, which is very strong. The manufacturers have helpfully included pull chords on either side with which to open the clamp without risking jamming your fingers inside. Use them!
